This welcoming, renovated cottage / motel looks very nice, and the staff is very helpful. Every area of the property is clean and well-organized. The room was clean but the mattress needs replacing. Surprisingly, I still slept well.

I booked the basic room, which was ok but very basic. So for my second night I got the regular room and it was amazing, clean big, with a side Seaview. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect. Right at the beach and close to supermarket if needed. The staff wa every friendly and room had everything you needed.

Authentic Bali right on the beach! Fabulous staff and cool A.C. The food in their sunset view restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. Government was building a walkway in front of hotel, and the noise was very annoying?. This project is happening all over Candidasa and Lovina Beach area.

This was at least my fifth stay at Lovina Beach Hotel. The location is beachfront, but quite a distance, 1+ km, from Jalan Mawar, the main street. The room was comfortable, aircon efficient, and wifi fast and reliable. Breakfast had sufficient choice, and is served in the beachfront restaurant. It's quite far from the main restaurant centre, and there aren't many restaurants or warungs nearby. The room I had this time was quite tired, in need of renovation, and there were only two power points in the room, not enough with several devices to charge.

Beautiful location on the beach. The staff were very kind and courteous. The food was very good. The pool was very clean and refreshing. The room was just okay. Some of the many cats were a bit too aggresive. One bit my spouse. Not great since there's a Rabies outbreak.

Kind staff. Lovely pool No fridge in room and when I asked for ice at the restaurant they wanted to charge me for it. Rooms and garden were not well kept up.

I've become something of a regular at the Lovina Beach Hotel, now having stayed there three, or maybe four, times in the past year, and that I return is a recommendation in itself. The location is absolute beachfront, a real plus, but quite a way, about a kilometer, from Jalans Binaria and Mawar, the nerve center of Lovina, with multiple restaurants. If you have transport, that's not an issue. There is plenty of parking for cars and motorbikes. The room was plain, but clean and comfortable, good bed and pillow/s, aircon efficient, and wifi fast and reliable. The room rate reflects the quality, getting a bit old and tired, and in that location, I would expect higher prices. The gardens are expansive, very nice and relaxing. Breakfast is in the beachfront restaurant, and since I was alone, I was offered the second breakfast, the room rate being for two. There is bottomless tea/coffee and juices. I like coffee/tea making facilities, but having stayed previously, I did know they were not in the room. It's quite a walk to the main streets, Jlns Mawar and Binaria.

The location is superb, right on the beach, gardens well maintained, aircon efficient, bed and pillows comfortable wifi fast and reliable, and breakfast adequate. I thought it was good value The location is at least a kilometer from Jalan Mawar.

I wanted to give this a higher rating but we happened to be there during the Lovina festival and the noise from all the rehearsals was so loud it was impossible to sleep. The main stage was right outside the property and we could literally feel our window shaking. They practiced during the most random times, sometimes starting by 7:30am and going past midnight. I think the noise shouldn't be an issue if you don't go during this time. But it truly impacted our experience.

Right on beach. Great staff. Bathroom could do with good clean. Tiles need to be scrubbed with white vinegar.

Would have liked lounge chairs on beach. Room dated and shabby, although clean and bed comfortable. This is offset by inexpensive price. (Shower could have used a curtain.)

A good lay back Hotel, Chalets are now getting quite rustic, due to being built sometime back and the onslaught of the Tropics. Several of restaurant staff were rather abrupt I thought and yet the general cleaning and reception staff couldn't be more friendly?

The room are very run down, with lots of water damage. I hope that one day all the rooms get renovated and this Grand Hotel is back to its former glory. I would defiantly return once the rooms are sorted.

Beers could have been colder at restaurant.
