The breakfast was simple but sufficient. As for the view, it was absolutely beautiful. In the morning, it felt like looking at a painting. However… For someone visiting for the first time, the photos give the impression that all rooms have a river view. This is not the case for all rooms, including ours. If the hotel is aware or if you’re lucky, you might be given a room with a river view; otherwise, you can enjoy this beautiful scenery from the common area where breakfast and meals are served on the ground floor. This might come as a surprise to first-time visitors. We noticed it ourselves. Yes, it would have been nice to have a river view from our room, but even so, it was still okay.

Beautiful property with free bikes and a lovely breakfast every morning next to the river. I stayed at the top room River view and it was absolutely gorgeous with a tub in the room as well! Loved my stay and the whole Moonlight Champa team.

The area was a bit noisy at night due to a nearby restaurant on the river

Breakfast by the river was spectacular. We goot it for free. Otherwise, for the price they were charging you can get beakfast, luch and dinner in town. Clean and comfortable. Nice and friendly staff. Also got free bikes for 1 day. Location - a bit of a walk to town and all the attractions. A bit pricy too for Luang Prabang

This is a wonderful place to stay. It’s beautiful and in a lovely location on the river. It’s decorated beautifully - both the main areas and the rooms themselves. The staff are wonderful as well - very warm and professional. The breakfast is also good. We highly recommend it! Noting

Great staff. Great views. Walkable to town but in a quiet location Bathroom was one of those where the toilet and shower share the same space. Not unique to this hotel but not the best design.

A bit overpriced for what I got. Pay by credit card charges 3% commission fee.

Nice view of the river and common outdoor space. Room had little flying insects in them since window could not be tightly shut. Did not enjoy the floor length window from the bathroom to the rest of the room, and the curtain that is not adequate in covering the window. Hotel also a bit far from restaurants and attractions.

The breakfast was way below average. Coffee was horrible.

The best thing was the river view from the balcony, truly stunning! The room really need little touches of care to deserve that price range. For example when we arrived the bathroom light and fan did not work, and they only get fixed the first. The tub drain get often stuck and one hand soap for the sink would have been nice. The worse is the bathroom door that doesn’t close at all, so forget about the privacy.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful right from the start, and they seem to take care of the hotel and its guests with lots of care and attention. I stayed in one of the top rooms with a balcony and a lovely view over the river. The room is perhaps a little minimal compared to standard hotels, but it's comfortable and has everything you need, including AC. It was pretty much exactly as in the pictures. The hotel is maybe 20-30 minutes walking distance from the old town, or you can easily get a taxi / tuktuk there in 10. The staff also organised a driver for us to go and see the waterfalls, another friendly face called Simon, and provided lots of information for possible future activities and excursions. There wasn't really anything not to like, I would just recommend checking the pictures and reviews so you know what to expect! There were a few steps down to the hotel and up into most of the rooms, and there isn't a lift, so it might be difficult for those with accessibility issues.

Very nice place & staffs. They gave as a free room upgrade due to a minor issue in our original room. Breakfast is very simple but amazing. Thanks for making our stay amazing! See you again :) None

The room was big and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and refilled our bottles every time we asked them. Lovely common area with views on the river. The only downsides are the location and the bed. It’s a bit far from the center (15-20 min walk) and the bed was too hard for me.

The place ,the staff and the view. Would recommend to anyone who needs rest. The curtains to the toilet ,providing a voyeurism I don't need.
