Very clean, spotless clean. Nice comfy, breakfast good. To downtown restaurant street or market maybe a 10-15 min walk. Friendly staff and helpful.

Super clean, fresh and everything worked a charm Uhhhh, nothing much, very hard to have complaint but being able to let a little light in with blinds might be an absolute luxury

The staff, in particular Nick, was especially helpful. When I brought an issue of overcharging to the owner he promptly corrected their error. The room was spacious and comfortable. 99% of the tours offered include riding elephants which in my opinion is unethical, and which I discussed with the owner. If I had known this, I would not have booked this hotel because I do not support those involved in any way with elephant riding. For this reason, I did not book tours through the hotel, but booked directly on my own. Upon arrival I was graciously offered a room upgrade which required me moving to another room on day 2 which I understood. However, several days later a manager identifying himself as the owner’s brother knocked on my door despite having a “do not disturb” sign, asking me to move in order to accommodate other arriving guests. (I was booked to stay 2 weeks). I do not think this is good customer service, and I declined to move.

The location was great. Walking distance from downtown. The swimming pool was nice and the exterior restaurant was nice with a good breakfast. The beds are very noisy because of the wood. The staff is very helpful booking train tickets, recommendations, etc. although only one of them spoke very good English.

The hotel manager was so helpful in all of our requests for recommendations. It felt like having an insider’s guide available at all times. The hotel is tucked down a quiet street, yet just a few minutes’ walk to the town center.

I recently stayed here and it was, without a doubt, the best hotel I've ever experienced on a trip. I literally can't find a single thing to complain about. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast was outstanding, with a huge variety of options to choose from. The drinks were fantastic as well. The location is absolutely amazing! It's close to everything you could possibly need, with countless restaurants nearby and the market just a short walk away. I truly had the best time here. I will definitely be coming back. 1000/10! Nothing!!!

Clean Safe Nice

The hotel was very clean. The staff were very helpful and willing to assist. The location is close to the center. The bottle water they dropped in the hotel room had a very terrible smell so I could not drink it. I suggest they change the bottle water to another type.

My 3-night stay at Sadakham Hotel in Luang Prabang was absolutely phenomenal! The room was spotless, cozy, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing solo getaway. The stunning view overlooking the serene lotus pond added a magical touch to my mornings and evenings. The staff, led by the exceptional service manager, Junior, were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect. Breakfast was a delight—fresh, diverse, and bursting with delicious local and international flavors. The complimentary bike was a fantastic bonus, allowing me to explore Luang Prabang’s charming streets with ease. Thanks to Junior and the team, Sadakham Hotel made my trip truly unforgettable, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Laos!

+ Clean, spacious rooms with great A/C and mini fridge + Good location for those who can walk approximately 15 mins to the centre/main streets + Room serviced daily + Free bottled water replaced daily On arrival I was asked to “help” by cancelling my booking. Unfortunately, I hadn’t read that this is a common occurrence at this hotel because the reviews on Booking.com are mostly positive. Check reviews on Google Maps for the other side to this hotel. I guess they are trying to avoid booking fees or something but by not disclosing this information and giving no reason for the cancellation, why would I want to cancel and leave myself with no evidence of booking? I refused to cancel my booking, then paid in cash and all was well. No problem. The hotel itself isn’t bad but I think people should be aware of this behaviour at check-in as it may be unsettling for some.

- Poor wifi connection, went to cafes to do daily admin tasks on computer - Construction site next door that was very noisy, understand that it's unaviodable but no prior communication before arrival was given - Difficult to communicate with some staff

Location and quiet atmosphere were perfect. I very much appreciated the ability to use the bicycles as well. The breakfast could have been better, I choose to eat out after my second night. It was fine, but not great.
