Not a super big deal, but the pillows on the bed were too thick, so we couldn't use them for sleeping. We used folded up towels.

Hotel Sala Prabang is located near Mekong River. We appreciated very much taking our breakfast on the terrace overlooking the river.National Museum, night market and Phousi Hill are within walking distance.

The location is great. On the peninsula and can walk to many restaurants and the night market. This was my second time to stay there. I liked everything. My room was upstairs and very quiet.

Excellent location, by the river and close to the markets and town centre. The TV worked and offered Lao TV, which you didn't get at all the hotels I stayed in. My booking was without breakfast, but I stayed another three nights as part of a tour group and enjoyed the breakfast then. It was very good and nice to sit outside. Room was spacious and clean and I appreciated the free water. Staff were helpful and carried my bags. Can't think of anything. Would definitely recommend.

Some parts of the hotel are in good location, overlooking the river, other buildings were much less pleasant. Room was clean. It should be described as a guesthouse rather than a hotel, as it had few facilities eg phones in room, room service etc. The beds were very hard.

Nice property in good riverside location. Should be clearly noted that there are rooms in a seperate building to the one shown in all photos.

The room is a bit dark and could use brighter lights. Wi-fi signals can go down sometimes. Western style breakfast options are limited but that was common in Luang Prabang.
