Spiros-Soula Family Hotel & Apartments

Came for a wedding and left with the inspiration to come back as soon as possible! Staff were working around the clock to give us the best experience possible. Views of the cliffs and ocean were perfect, facilities were clean, walkable, and comfortable, and the food and drinks were always delicious.

This hotel is just a gem. We booked only one night on our way to Heraklion and the place is beautiful. It is a lovely family hotel full of flowers and the owners are the kindest people of all the people we met in Crete. We had great food, fresh fish and a beautiful room overlooking the gulf. The breakfast was also excellent. Only be careful that google sends you up some really cumbersome alleys instead of suggesting the most straightforward road! When we were driving there I was about to give up, but the next day it took one minute to get to the main road. Taking the wrong road to get there, as we did, was a bit of a nightmare. Make sure you get there by the right road.

We have been a couple of nights in October. The view is amazing. The kids loved the swimming pool. The food was very good. We went to the Ligaria beach just 5 minutes drive from there and found it lovely.

Very friendly family run hotel, serving their own really good home made wine. Nice restaurant. Great breakfast for only 10 Eur. Fantastic option if you are looking for a hotel close to the airport. Rooms are little noisy.

We liked everything ?

It was perfect for what we wanted as a group meeting up for a wedding. Food is excellent . Pool and pool area were great. Staff lovely. Accommodation is basic but that goes with the price and it is perfectly adequate.

Breakfast was good, very peaceful location with a gorgeous view, outside was well presented and relaxing My door didn’t have a curtain on it meaning when it got light I was woken up

The hotel is very aesthetic and clean, with the garden meticulously maintained every day by the owner. It is owned and managed by a wonderfully kind and helpful Greek-Polish family with whom we became fast friends. The restaurant is amazing with local food and very reasonable prices. Janis, the chef, is one of the owners of the hotel and he is putting all of his heart into these meals. The breakfast is very tasty with a beautiful seaview, the beaches nearby very lovely. We were very sad to leave there! We are sending warmest regards to your beautiful family! The nearby roads were pretty steep and curvy, so that you need a car to get to the beach.

Family run hotel with extremely friendly ambience. Great food with a super special everyday. Sunday is bbq day which is absolutely delicious, slow cooked Pork, lamb and chicken. Very clean surroundings throughout the hotel and lovely views.

One room without airco

The hotel and the whole complex is super well maintained by the family of Spiros and Soula and is very nice and clean. Just like the large pool. The restaurant is better than you would expect from a hotel restaurant. Delicious dishes from the grill and oven and daily changing daily specials make it a place to be every day. The staff is very friendly and everyone takes great care of the guests. With 2 small children, you can have a nice pool holiday there. You can also get a free ride to the beach at 11am, which is also a great service. We also went to Ligaria beach, which we liked and is very suitable for families. More really shady places by the pool area would be needed and mosquito screens in the bathroom.

Food was outstanding. Service was great. This a great hotel if you have little kids. Not so much if you want a more adult vibe without toys and playing kids in the pool. Rooms could be updated a bit.
