Staff were helpful & friendly, bed was very comfortable. Bar/restaurant areas were nice & smart. Room was a little noisy, but guess that was because it was on the road side of the hotel, although I managed to sleep fine. But to be fair I didn't request a quite room away from the traffic, so it was probably my fault in the first place. There was a great range of breakfast choices & I chose the full English. Slight problem was that the poached egg was hard, but rest of it was well cooked.

The rooms were very cozy. The hotel was very clean. The food was delicious!! But the staff made it exceptional. Everyone was so very nice and accommodating. Would go back just for them. It worked about okay but the parking is a bit crowded and you cross a very busy street. For Lyme Regis- the parking was convenient.

The Staff were friendly and efficient. The food was excellent. The property could do with some maintenence and updating.Overall a good stay. Location was close to the sea and town with views of the sea from our room there is a steep hill to negotiate to the town/beach but buses/taxis available. As above the property is in need of a little TLC and update.

really lovely staff and the breakfast was so so good, the room was really cosy and bed unbelievably comfortable!! maybe the shower but it was only the water pressure so nothing really to complain about

This was our 4th visit and again did not disappoint. Cosy hotel in a great location. Large room with very comfortable bed. Lovely gardens. Delicious breakfast. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful especially Gemma who went out of her way to make us feel v welcome. Nothing. It was great.

Staff were good, clean and comfortable. Breakfast not of quality.

Lovely staff and fabulous breakfast. Good value for money. Appeared clean on the surface but lots of cobwebs in the room particularly around the curtains and window. Would have liked there to have been a mattress protector on the bed.

We had a large room with sea views and a big comfy bed. We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening and had breakfast two mornings, very good food each time. The staff were helpful and cheerful. It is an old building with lots of stairs and thin walls, we had noisy neighbours one night. The room carpet could have been better vacuumed, dust in all the corners.

Breakfast good, car parking good, not far from beach and on bus route. Nice garden and lovely view from bedroom Room on top floor and stairs very steep - floor uneven on bedroom

The bathroom was spotless and the room had a really nice old worldly charm and the staff were second to none - always helpful and friendly. I also like the garden area which had some nice views of Lyme Regis... I wouldn't say there was anything I didn't like, if I was going to be really picky - I would say it would be nice to have something to put on your toast when breakfast is brought to you and that would be it...

We ate breakfast and dinner. The latter especially was very scrumptious. The vegetables were so fresh and tasty. I loved that this was an old-world hotel (c.1650) but still provided contemporary facilities. Only the enormous hill down to the town centre and back.

Lovely bar and garden area Staff were lovely, especially Paige x Ran out of tea bags and toilet rolls

Curtains in the bedroom didn’t close properly and the shower was very poor.

This was such a beautiful hotel! Absolutely recommend this for anyone looking to stay. Adorable pink building and traditional interior. Brilliant location being a 10 minute walk away from the beach! I was delighted by my room! It was spotless. I booked a double and the room was absolutely huge! The bed was incredibly comfortable, nice kettle and drink options in the room. Was so delighted to have free breakfast as well included, which was absolutely lovely (croissants were sooooo fluffy!) Brilliant kind and friendly staff too! Loved it so much! -

The hotel was very clean, the staff were excellent, the breakfast was excellent and a very good choice The hotel is an old building and i felt in neeed some maintenance works carrying out. We had some paint peeling off one of the walls which wouldn't take long to rectify, the towel rail in the bathroom was loose, easy fix. None of these things spoiled our stay but it is attention to detail

Excellent location for the beach and town centre although beware it is an uphill walk bacj to the hotel. Excellent staff and breakfast was great! Free parking opposite the hotel
