Hotel Kaiserhof

The hotel location is very central, especially when travelling by train (located opposite of the train station). The hotel ist decently renovated. The hotel gives itself 4+ stars which is clearly overrated. 3 stars would be an adequate rating. Our room was small and the bathroom tiny - not at all 4 star level. Although the cleanliness was in general OK, there were some mold spots. The rooms are made up only every 2nd day, unless paying +15€ (they say that the reduction in service is for the sake of the environment, but it is of course a saving at the customer's expense (for the environment they could still apply the usual measures, like collecting the dirty towels only, etc.). 1 small bottle of water offered for 2 persons/2 days. No hot water/coffee/tea available etc. Hotel parking is available (fee), but it is small. We had to park the car at a public parking. Overall the stay was OK, but the standard does not meet what one would expect from a 4-star hotel.

The breakfast was so good and the hotel is just in tge front of the train station and is so near to the town where you could go for shopping and exploring and eating… They don’t clean the room every day and the towels were too ancient/old. They should buy a new ones.

Location, comfortable room, large bathroom and helpful staff.

The staff were wonderful, gave us excellent advice about the city and were very helpful. The restaurant is excellent. The location directly across from the main train station makes it very convenient to get around without a car or needing a taxi. The room was a bit on the small side, and the elevator was a bit quirky, but no real problem.

The hotel was close to the train station so it was nice to drop off our bags and then go for a walk. The breakfast was really tasty with lots of choices. The staff were helpful. The room was a bit too warm. We opened the window in the evening and closed it overnight but we felt it was quite warm regardless.

Nice location, clean and friendly staff. The Wi-Fi was not very good in our room, so bad that we couldn’t stream anything uninterrupted.

It was 4 star . Rooms basic but comfortable but no mini bar and furnishings in room were basic. Too many extras; breakfast , car park, wanted to save room clean for the price of a free drink in the bar!!!

No prior notification that the Main Entrance was not in operation which would have helped.

Breakfast was super - much better than I had expected. Superb selection of food. Reception staff very helpful. Rooms were clean. Windows provided excellent sound insulation - I heard no traffic noise from the street outside Bed was a little bit soft Room was small but very well appointed and had everything I needed. Air con didn't work, but room was still comfortable.

Very friendly staff. Centrally located. Good breakfast. We had a great time. Outlet to charge devices only on one side of the bed.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the location is great. The breakfast buffet has a great selection Extremely uncomfortable pillows, bad WiFi signal, no tea or coffee in the room, overpriced breakfast and parking. We expected a bit more from a 4 star hotel

Really lovely hotel, spacious rooms with lovely shower. I used the gym and if I had more would have used the Spa area too. Gym was a little small
