5/5 Stars – Highly Recommended!** We had an awesome stay at Hotel Central! Our room was perfectly decorated in a beautiful 1920s theme, while remaining incredibly clean and comfortable. The welcome wine and beverages were a wonderful touch, and the entire staff was exceptionally polite and helpful. We also loved the excellent bilingual (Chinese/English) hotel tour! It's conveniently located near the popular old town sightseeing area, making it the absolute perfect spot for a quiet, relaxed vacation filled with history and culture. Highly recommended! Nothing!

This is easily one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Macau’s historic center. Nearly everything is within walking distance, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. What truly makes this hotel special, however, is its atmosphere. Staying here feels like stepping into a classic film from the early 20th century. The beautiful vintage elevators, elegant furniture, refined décor, and carefully chosen details create a unique sense of timeless charm. Everything feels luxurious and sophisticated, yet warm and welcoming rather than overly formal. The staff were exceptional throughout my stay. Everyone was professional, attentive, and spoke excellent English, which made the experience even more comfortable for international guests. Breakfast was another highlight. Guests can choose between Chinese and Western options, and both were outstanding. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, with elegant table settings and excellent service that make every breakfast feel special. The room exceeded all expectations. It was spotless, spacious, and perfectly equipped with everything one could need. The large bed was extremely comfortable, the blackout curtains ensured excellent sleep quality, and every detail appeared thoughtfully prepared and impeccably maintained. I also greatly appreciated the complimentary minibar. Beyond the usual refreshments, the hotel provided a wonderful selection of tea, coffee, nuts, dried fruits, and some of the most delicious almond cookies I have ever tasted. This hotel offers something increasingly rare: genuine character. It combines the elegance and romance of old-world Macau with the comfort and quality of a modern luxury hotel. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Macau

Everything, it’s my 2nd visit to Hotel Central, and I’ll be back again next year if not sooner. The location is PERFECT, the hotel quality is EXCEPTIONAL, the interior after the multi million dollar renovation is outstanding. Nothing

Super nice room, soooo comfortable

The hotel exceeded my expectations, everything was amazing. Additionally, the imersion into the history was felt at every step, each detail and perfection in the design left you speechless all the time.

The rooms were very big and beautifully decorated. The hotel is situated in a nice area, close to some of the bigger casinos, but you might still need to use a bus or a taxi. Walking from the ferry was 40 minutes, so that was a bit long, so better take a ride if you have luggage. There is a nice rooftop bar, but the wait for 2 cocktails was definitely too long.

Some staff could not understand English well. Sink had a flat surface (old style) so water was not draining quickly. Room may use more lighting especially at night tables.

Everything: hotel employees, location , facilities , the food .Hotel is beautifully decorated . It is not 2 stars at all, it looks like 5 star hotel . There was not a plug for the hairdryer in the bathroom . You have to dry your hair in the room with no mirror.

Everything. Really close walking distance to major attractions and a short uber ride if you are going to other sides of the city. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully and tastefully designed and decorated. Wish we stayed longer! Nothing. The only thing to mention if it matters to you is that the room with the balcony faces a neighborhood that’s pretty old and rundown, so not the best view in case you were looking for something spectacular.

The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see. Love the historic aspect of the hotel. Wished that there was a pool but not a dealbreaker.

This is a beautiful hotel- the lobby, the room, the rooftop bar and promenade...Gorgeous! My room had a claw foot tub, the minibar was completely free, and I received a free "welcome" drink at the bar. Breakfast was also included (and very good). The street location is very busy so it could be hard to get an Uber or taxi. I found that it was better to walk further away from the hotel before trying to get a car.

The breakfast options were pre-defined (e.g. Western, Asian ...) and absolutely top-notch. Opens at 7:00am. Coffee was great too. Cost was very affordable (converted, it was $US 12.15). The surrounding neighborhood has options but few are also open at 7:00am when I wanted to eat. Standard room is small-ish but still very nicely equipped. Love the coffee grinder, BTW ...! You have to use your free drink coupon on the rooftop bar the same day you check in. I didn't pay attention to that detail so I missed the chance. Otherwise, everything about this hotel is great.

It was a very nice hotel! Absolutely love how big the shower is but on the other hand the room itself is quite small. Overall it was a comfortable, nice and clean. Great location! Room is quite small.

Location, decor, history

Excellent location and fantastic amenities in the room. The WiFi on the 8th floor was so weak that it was almost impossible to access.
