I loved the place, very spacious for the price. When I entered the unit, it smelled really bad. Like someone smoked in that room. I notified reception and they gave us an air purifier and sprayed the unit some air freshener which only worked for a few hours. The smell came back an hr later.

Clean, large, comfortable rooms Light switches left us in the dark in the room, not labelled or helpful guides within the room. Location is a bit remote from the other attractions, not much within the hotel itself

I really enjoyed being spoken to in a patronising and condescending manner by the reception duty managers and Joseph the booking team manager. Didn't appreciate the fact they charged me TWICE the advertised price of the room, because of....get this.....the first one was a "pre-authorisation" despite the money leaving my bank account. I also telephoned the hotel two days before my arrival asking to PAY not pre-authorise, pre-hold or do any pending transaction nonsense beforehand. This was meant to smooth the check-in process so my girlfriend doesn't have to wait at 11pm after a long day travelling. They then charged me a second time upon check-in despite my disagreement that it was necessary to do so....it took 30 minutes to get our hotel room key because of their condescending tones with me, trying to say I don't understand and that I wouldn't have been charged. We only noticed a second amount of money had left my bank account the next morning, and after I complained once again...they said they'd immediately revert one transaction. I saw the excess money return to my back account.....then they took another 1366HKD from my bank on the afternoon! This hotel steals money from customers and doesn't advertise their policy is to charge you a week before arrival when you choose the "pay at property" option on booking.com. They've stopped replying to my messages now, and refuse to accept responsibility of the situation.

The design of the property was sophisticated. All staffs are super helpful especially the housekeeping team and the FO team when they get to know about my missing passport incident. Nothing

Many choices for having breakfast. The interior design of the restaurant was fantastic. Only taxi was available commuting from or to the hotel. The only shuttle bus only commuting to the hotel near by. Around 5 minutes walk. Kind of feeling secured since many people also walked to the hotel.

Our particular room was clean. Others who stayed all complained of heavy cigarette smell in their rooms. Breakfast was terrible. We only stayed here due to a rugby tournament but would not stay again. Understaffed and long wait for check in.

Breakfast was great with a good variety. The location was however a bit of concern especially we were going to the Galaxy Arena for the concert.

The location of the breakfast was convenient enough. I was warned that the breakfast wasn't good, but actually it was pretty decent. But it would have been nicer if there were more choices of ways of eggs cooked; ie scrambled + sunny-side up. Loved the beef borscht and the fried noodles! The jet of water coming from the shower was very powerful! One of my pillows had a bit of smell that was like the grease from someone's head. Luckily, other pillows didn't have that smell so I simply changed it, but ideally there wouldn't be that smell at all. The water from the shower was so powerful that it couldn't be positioned properly on the shower holder and had to be handheld through the process.

The room is spacious and the staff are polite and willing to help. The location of the hotel is quite far away from the city centre, and there is not enough public transport support near the hotel.
