Hostal Cervantes

The location was great, very central. The room was quiet and cool, and had a fan and a sink in it. The bathroom was separate from the room, and apparently shared, but was never occupied when I had to use it. The sound insulation might have been better, or the other guests could have been quieter. Someone seemed to be constantly slamming and locking a door one morning. But this was really my only complaint.

Hostal Cervantes tiene una ubicación fenomenal, en medio de Madrid, cerca de restaurantes, museos y la estación de Atocha! El trabajador principal, Orlando, es muy amable. Hay agua fría o caliente disponible 24 horas gratis. El aire acondicionado funciona super bien y la ducha es espaciosa. Estábamos encantados con la estancia. Volveremos. Quizás vendría bien poner un protector de colchón debajo de la sábana bajera. Pero la cama fue cómoda.

Very clean. Air conditioning. Nice host. Considering the location and conditions vs the cost, I would say it is a really good choice. It is true that the walls are very thin and you can hear everything, even though the other guests were quiet, but that also depends on your sleep. I had no problems with that, for example, but you should take it into account and maybe take earplugs if you need complete silence.

The facility is in need of updates.

The property was very central and walking distance to everything Property was super clean. There was a communal fridge and microwave Loved that our room was cleaned each day and that we got clean towels. Orlando was very nice The shower/ bathroom was very very small and it was very hard to get in and out of shower due to the design

Centrally located near metro English of staff very rough. Unresponsive when a requested a receipt although in the end they did provide it.

Location was fabulous for Madrid center, very clean, hot water, warm room at all times, refrigerator. We would gladly stay there again Price expensive for the kind of room and the hotel in general

Perfect location. Easy to reach anything. Lots of attractions around Small room. Low sound and scent isolation.

I texted Orlando to switch me to quieter room but i didn’t hear back from him, next day I called but no answer then I called again 2times but no answer. If he doesn’t want to be bothered why put his phone number to call him if an issue rises. Location n safety

Nothing, the photos in Booking.com did not reflect the actual conditions. We couldn’t stay at the establishment, we had to leave and find other housing. Dirty, dingy, beds were horrible. We couldn’t stay at this establishment. We had to leave.

The bathroom is a bit small

Orlando was very kind and service minded. The location is great. The place is lept very clean and tidy. The internet connection from my room was pretty bad unfortunately.

That is so comfortable if you are traveling alone

Amazing location. You can hear everyone. Literally woke up every morning to somebody sneezing very loud and you could hear people chatting in the room next door.
