The staff were very kind and accommodating. Location was great - really fun area but quiet on the street. The AC was a big plus, and it was nice to have a private bathroom. Good value for the price and felt very safe. Would stay again. Minor things. Floors seemed a tiny bit dirty, using the in-room bathroom toilet is hard for tall folks, the beds and pillows (we were only able to get two twins together instead of double) were a bit hard.

SPARTAN----and that was fine. It was as advertised, simple, and good value. For a single traveler looking for good value and minimal conveniences...clean and well managed.

The room was clean and comfy, service excellent I absolutely hate Madrid. Had my phone snatched by one of the many beggers in the bars That was on the first night. The police couldn't care less. On the last night, 2 youths tried to mug me. I would not recommend Madrid to my worst enemy

Love love love this accommodation! Although the room was small, it didn’t feel cramped since the space is so well designed. It felt newly renovated with a desk, place to hang clothes, and even a little nightstand. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was immaculately clean. The shower was quite nice with an overhead rain shower head and a handheld sprayer. Even the signs with instructions were in new condition and tastefully designed. The gentleman working at reception was very helpful and gave great recommendations. Centrally located and just a few minutes’ walk to the metro. Pretty quiet considering it’s in a touristic area.

This hotel is in the old part of Madrid. Very good location. It is situated on the 3rd floor of an old style apartment building. First a couple of steps and then an elevator to take you there. The place is simple but value for money. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Nothing.

There were both interior facing and exterior facing rooms - my recommendation is to choose an interior facing room as there can be some street noise. However, for central Madrid it was still very quiet for the exterior facing rooms.

Perfectly clean. Walls are a little thin so I could hear my neighbor snoring. But that could happen everywhere. Price + location + cleanliness were unmatched.

Bed and pillows are comfortable. The AC is very strong and nice. Staff was very friendly. Their wasn’t trash in the room except tiny one in the bathroom. Some times it gets noisy outside the room.

It was kind of self-service. Even though the guy who received me was nice, there was no one there during the night and to leave my bag during the check-out day it was a not very flexible system where I had to pre- schedule in the morning the time at which I would come back to get my bag in the afternoon. If you have a hard time sleeping with sunlight, do bring your eye mask.

Very clean room and facilities in general. Nice and helpful girl at the front desk for the check in. Checking out was also a breeze. Location was very central and close to everything in downtown, very convenient for my visit. Soundproof room in a quiet side street, bed was comfortable. First time for me sharing a toilet and having a shower in the room but it was not a big deal after all. Towels provided were clean but extremely rough (like sandpaper), besides this, all good.

Very clean with comfortable beds. We just stayed one night coming from the Madrid airport and leaving from the Atocha Train station. It was a 10-15 minute walk to the train station.

Location, accommodating host, great shower and comfortable bed. A kettle for tea/ coffee would be nice.

The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the location is excellent, the staff was very nice, we could check in earlier, and we could leave our luggages there. During the day the room was cold, but it was fine, because at night the heating was hot. It would be great, if there was in the room at least an electric kettle.
