Great location, very clean. Bed was comfortable There was no duvet cover, just a sheet with blankets on top on it, which I found a bit odd. Also there was this singular pillow for the bed which was unusual. Also, no kettle. Could use some decorations as well!

The location is just the best. We walked everywhere around the city. Also, just across the street there is a very good Japanese shop which sells handmade pancakes and bubble tea. Once I put my eye mask and earplugs on I slept quite well. Otherwise, the walls are very thin to sleep without earplugs on. The room is small but well organised. The cabinet is very spacious. There's also a TV and a mirror. The balcony is small but cool. The heating works well. Towels and bed sheets are provided, together with shower gel. The pillow is thin. The bathroom is small but practical, not in very good shape but it does its job. The staff DOES NOT SPEAK ONE SINGLE WORD OF ENGLISH. Not just disappointing, but rather appalling, since it's just in the city center and I bet they do not only accommodate Spanish speaking guests. They also do not answer the messages on Booking.com. There is NO HAIRDRYER available. We checked out today and had to go to the hairdresser to wash our hair because it would have been impossible to avoid washing it for 4 nights and it was way too cold not to dry it. I find it incredible to believe that they cannot provide a hairdryer through a deposit. Our room was on the second floor with no lift. The WiFi doesn't work. Also, while sleeping I found a cockroach in my bed. Unfortunately, I would not suggest non-Spanish speakers to book a room here because you just feel like an idiot thrown in a room without any kind of help. We paid €285 for a double room for 4 nights and found it expensive, but it was the cheapest in the city center, with private bathroom.

Excellent location. 20 mins to walk to Almudena Cathedral. Very safe area at night, I had no problems. Many restaurants and bars nearby. Rooms were clean and tidy. Excellent value for the price. Thin walls, you’ll hear people snoring etc. No elevator, rooms on first floor. The bathroom is small so if you’re a big person you’ll find it a squeeze. Host doesn’t speak English so use Google translate.

Location is the first thing to mention. Close to metro and Prado. Several places to eat around. Some grocery stores too. The price was low and bathroom was included. In a room. Wi-Fi was present and was fast! Speedtest shown something like 700/300 Mbps. No problems with uploading photos or watching movies in the evening. Staff cleans room every day. Shower gel is provided in container on a wall. Room layout was a bit weird. There was a small table but no good way to sit on chair in front of it to work on a laptop. Staff does not speak English. But it was not much of a problem. Google Translate app helped.

I liked the place it was in the center near to every thing you need like shoppig restaurants &cafe The bathroom was small and rhere was no refrigerator.
