We had a delightful stay and would definitly go back! The staff members couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, doing everything they could to make things easier and to make us feel at home. Our room was upgraded for free. The hotel and the rooms are modern, very clean, and comfortable. In the room a kettle, cups, tea bags and a bottle of water. In the cafeteria there's a coffee machine free to use at any time. It was great because we had to leave to the airport very early and couldn't have breakfast, so it was great to be able to have a cup of coffee before! The hotel is in the very nice and lively "lavapies" neighbourhood, very close to the beautiful "Latina" neighborhood. Many authentic restaurants, bars and cafeterias. It's also very close to the Atocha train station. This is not something we didn't like but it should be taken into account for some people: the center of the city is not very close. So if you want to go walking to the city center (Plaza Mayor/Sol/Gran vía) you would need to walk around 25 minutes (which is not a lot for many people).

Excellent location, friendly staff, super nice coffee

Great staff, very welcoming. I arrived a bit early and they were able to accommodate me in a larger room with no extra charge. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The location is interesting and can feel very urban depending on which way you travel. The hotel itself is very nice. N/A

Great breakfast, comfortable room When you come out of the shower you are in the middle of the hotel room

Roberto our host greeted us warmly right away. He spent ample time going over a map to point out highlights of Madrid in general and the funky/artsy Lavapies neighborhood near the Reina Sofia museum. We followed two of his tips for places to eat and one for local entertainment. The place itself is basic and comfortable. The room was larger than expected with lightwells rather than windows with views. But that's ok since the neighborhood might be a little too lively after hours. We slept in comfort and peace.

Friendly and helpful welcome by Roberto; good suggestion on where to eat; complimentary wine, water and olives, free coffee and tea at all times, kettle in room, generous size of room, good bed; excellent interesting location

Room looks good and location is very convenient, near the train station. Also had mini breakfast 14 euros and coffee machine. Reception staff was polite and attentive. I requested a crib through reservation on booking com and when I arrived to the room - crib was already there, without need to remember them. It was also clean and I had no problems with nothing. Recommend. Comparing to my other nightmare experience with airport ibis hotel - this is absolutely different service. I m impressed and good to know that Madrid can actually offer you good service. This is a 2-star hotel. Even though service is good, but the price is a bit high

Great staff! They upgraded us to a suite which was unexpected! Good location within walking distance of Atocha train station and three great art museums. Already booked for our return to Madrid. n/a

Very clean. Very comfortable. Nice shower and bathroom
-
The room was on the first floor and the only window faced a light shaft so there wasn't much natural light. Also the windows didn't open so no fresh air. The ceiling fan did help a bit.

room and staff location not too nice

Excellent room, great location

The room was great - I really liked the layout of the room & bathroom. The temperature control was great. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They put me at ease immediately. The neighborhood was interesting - I didn't feel like I was in the middle of noisy tourist area but it was close enough to everything, including transportation. I wouldn't get the breakfast again. I found it very disappointing and didn't bother with it the second day. But everything else was great.

The staff was expecting us and allowed us to check in a little early. They also gave us a small bottle of wine along with a sweet hand-written note
