There was almost no soundproofing between the rooms, so we could clearly hear everything from the neighboring room.

The roof top terrace was very beautiful with fantastic views. Elevators where always full. Pool was too cold even though it was the middle of summer.

Excellent property, right off gran vía with access to metro and lots of shopping. Wonderful staff and nice rooftop! The spa access is an additional fee, so be aware you can’t use the indoor pool without paying. Otherwise, overall good experience and would return. Rooms are also spacious, good AC, safe deposit box, mini bar and all the necessities.

Great location, nice clean room, wonderful breakfast buffet Twin beds were not provided as requested even though my original booking was for twin beds a month in advance and sent a few reminders to the hotel before our visit to organize twin beds. Upon our arrival there were no rooms with twin beds available.

Rooms are clean and it’s nice they have a rooftop pool. Lobby is a little dated.

Located on main street so cabs can't really stop, have to bring luggage upstairs and down yourself.

Everything was perfect from the reception to the whole staff ( cleaning,breakfast,pool and spa). They were so kind to treat us with wine and chocolate for my husband’s birthday . The location was perfect the room was spacious and clean . The spa perfect and the pool on the roof top just a treat ?

The location can’t be beat. Initially we wanted to stay by the Park (Retiro) but traveling with a family a pool was necessary. After experiencing navigation of both locations I’d highly recommend staying closer to Plaza de Espana as it’s more central to everything and there are many bus/metro options but it’s also walkable to many neighborhoods and site seeing spots. I’m so thrilled we picked Catalonia and I’d recommend it 100/10 times!
