location is very much in the centre. most significant places are reachable on foot or by metro. despite that, street noise was minimal inside the room. good ac, especially in summer. breakfast was a choice of set menu, good to have a variety of options. it is served at the rooftop restaurant (same bldg where the hostel is) with good views of madrid. soundproofing isn't good against other rooms. while outside noise is kept to minimum, you can hear people talk (or more) from the other rooms. but personally, it didn't disturb me as i am a heavy sleeper and was tired all day of going around.

Location only. Nothing more It was dirty.. cheap restoration, you had your queue for the elevator. They make you think you can access the rooftop terrace but they don’t allow it

The location was great. It’s exactly at the Gran Via, walking distance to all tourists spots. The reception is at the 7th floor and we were in a hurry for check-in but the lift takes to much time to arrived so we took the stairs till 7th floor with our bags.. not that comfy. Our room was at least in the 2nd floor and it was more convenient
