The staff here are amazingly helpful and sweet! They went out of their way to support us with everything, always with a warm smile, and handled all our requests smoothly. Location-wise, this hostal is top-tier. It's so central that we walked everywhere and didn't have to use our metro cards even once. Major spots like Gran Via, the Royal Palace, and Mercado were all within a 10-minute walk at most. It definitely exceeded our expectations and was super comfortable—surprisingly quiet for such a central location. Thanks a lot! Honestly, there was nothing to dislike. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we had a wonderful, hassle-free stay!

The property is centrally located in the heart of Madrid’s historic district. The hotel is fairly clean The value for the cost really wasn’t there for us. If you go and get a room that opens to Plaza del Angel street, be prepared to have people being loud almost all night long. There are several homeless staying close-by. The 2 twin beds were extremely firm (not comfortable for us) and one mattress was almost sliding off the base constantly. The staff only came to make the beds during the day but left the trash there (no trash can in the room). I’m not saying it’s a bad place but really not worth what they charge

Very friendly staff. Good location The lobby and breakfast area make it seem great--but I found the room lacking even for one person. My room's bathroom didn't have a door at all. Shower was the smallest I had my entire trip - even after 2 weeks on the camino. I also had no service on my phone and wifi signal wasn't strong enough for anything to load.

The beds were comfortable but we would have preferred a queen bed rather than two single beds or at least two single beds that lock together. The service was very accommodating and friendly and location is good. Breakfast is very good, lots of choices. The AC kept shutting off so it became warm on and off in the room. Lots of noise late into the night because the doors in the corridors slam very loudly. I actually thought at first they were gunshot noises! We did appreciate the front desk making the effort to give us a room at the back which was supposed to be quieter than the ones facing the street. The shower was way too tight, hard to get into as entry was very tight. Water pressure in shower a little weak. No toothpaste provided.

Location, location. Just walk from Sol and there is the sign right in front of you.

Super friendly and accommodating staff, amazing location, access to local cafes and restaurants. Room ventilation in original back corner room was poor (no AC or outside window) but the staff gladly changed me to another room so I was very satisfied.

Perfectly located in the old part of town. Walking distance to most everything we wanted to see and do. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Bilingual. Delicious and plentiful breakfast. The bathroom was just a little tight. Luckily none of us are overweight.
