Very poor value for money and unclear communication at reception I stayed at this hotel for two nights and, honestly, I found the price far too high for the conditions offered. The invoice shows 340 EUR for the first night and 341 EUR for the second night, a total of 681 EUR for two nights. The room did not offer anything special that could justify such a high rate. The amenities were minimal: only one bottle of still water and one shower cap, although there were two guests staying in the room. Another unpleasant aspect was the lack of clarity regarding the amounts charged or held on the card. At reception, we were told that 50 EUR per person would be held as a guarantee and refunded later, but the explanation was not clear. Communication with the reception staff was difficult, both in Spanish and in English, which created confusion regarding payments and possible deposits. Overall, the experience was not what I expected from a Hyatt Regency hotel and definitely did not justify the price paid. The value for money was very poor.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and couldn’t have chosen a better place for our visit to Madrid. The location was excellent, especially as we were in the city for the Madrid Marathon, the race started right in front of the hotel, which was incredibly convenient and made the whole experience even more special. The breakfast was outstanding, with an impressive variety of options, so many that we honestly couldn’t try everything. After the marathon, we also enjoyed celebrating at the hotel bar, where the cocktails were beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious, the perfect way to end such a big day. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely kind, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. They made us feel welcome and well looked after at all times. The only small point to mention is that the room size felt a little on the smaller side considering the price, but this did not take away from our overall experience. Overall, a wonderful hotel with fantastic service, great food and drinks, and a superb location. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return again.
