The manufactured plywood as a decorative choice made the place feel undone and weird. The shag carpet in the lounge was disgusting.

Basic but clean and with very good staff. Only a 15 minute walk to the main train station. District very clean and safe. I would have preferred breakfast at 7:00 rather than 7:30.

The closeness of where I needed to be I requested a refund due to overbooking for medical reasons and never received a response, either way.

Good location. Nice dining room and outdoor seating area in cafe. Comfortable bed and bedding. Very helpful staff. Very good food. Using manufactured plywood as a primary decorative theme did not appeal to me, although my husband thought maybe they were in the midst of a remodel. I don’t think so. We paid extra for a veranda but I think it was actually a rooftop where they stored old outdoor furniture. We did have a table and two chairs outside. But it needs to be upgraded and tidied up (rusty railings and pieced together siding on back and block off old stored tables and chairs). Bathroom shelf coming off wall.

The most affordable accommodation vlose to Chamartin station. The place is in serious need of maintenance. Semi-see through wall between the shower and the room. The styling of the room. The mattresses are old and poor wuality.

Friendly helpful staff and decent price. The room was clean, if basic, despite the hotel’s somewhat shabby exterior. But it’s affordable and convenient to both the airport and Chamartin station. If you’re just passing through for a night and need a cheap clean place to crash it’s perfect. Not close to the more touristy parts of Madrid but also much cheaper than the hotels you’ll find there

It was a price/performance choice and worked out nicely. The room had everything I needed, and the breakfast was ok. I couldn't ask for more for the price I paid. Plus, the location was very close to where I had my meeting, so it worked out perfectly for me. NA
