It was comfortable and nicely furnished. I also liked that it had extra toiletries in case we forgot some essentials. Thanks so much for accommodating us early as I requested! There was a dead cockroach right by the door. I took a picture of it on my way out during check out. I didn’t see any live ones during my stay

Excellent location in the heart of the city centre. Very good breakfast with fresh ingredients and the selection changed a little each day I was there, which kept it interesting. The double room was a good size and the aircon in the room worked well despite the scorching heatwave outside. Small/slow lift but that’s part and parcel of a charming old building. It was quite quiet in Madrid that weekend so it wasn’t a big issue.

It was a great value for price, location and services. Extremely well located at the heart of Madrid at walking distance to many attractions. Friendly and helpful staff. We arrived early and the room was already ready. There wasn't anything in particular that we didn't like but in retrospect, it would have been better for the baby it it was a double bed instead of 2 adjoining beds as we were concerned about sliding and the baby falling in between beds.

It was clean, A/C with adequate temp setting, considering the heat outside. A bit 'rickety' elevator? Not a big deal, though.

La atención cordial de la recepcionista Laura Aire acondicionado necesita un upgrade, a pesar que rápidamente atendieron mi llamada y cambiaron el filtro, el aire no enfría muy bien. La caja fuerte lo mismos, Laura subió a auxiliarnos, y al día siguiente fue la gente de mantenimiento, la dejó funcionando pero como siempre, al día siguiente ya no funcionaba de nuevo
