Welcome to Way Hostel Madrid! We’re located in the center of the city, just minutes away from the most iconic sights in the capital. From our excellent location you can walk to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the renowned museums of the Golden Triangle of Art, and, on Sundays and holidays, to the famous flea market El Rastro. Here at Way Hostel Madrid, we work hard to make you feel at home. Our Hostel captures the essence of backpacking, bringing people together to share a room, the first morning coffee, several different free tours, nights out on the town… you can find it all here. More than just a place to spend the night, we welcome you to a warm and friendly atmosphere where everyone forms part of a new shared experience, no matter where you’re from. We are convinced that the difference between a Hotel and a Hostel is the S that stands for Social. In our common kitchen you can prepare your favorite dishes or try food from different places around the world! We provide free coffee and churros every morning so you can start your day in the best possible way. (Please note that this is not a full, proper breakfast, just a little something to get you going.) There’s free Wi-Fi throughout the entire building and a wide variety of rooms available, from 2-person private rooms to shared rooms for 6, 8, or 12 people. There is always an electrical outlet, reading light, and locker for each bed. Finally, we have the common room, where you can make friends, watch your favorite sport, or simply rest after a day of sightseeing. All you have to do is walk in and enjoy. We don’t want to take up any more of your time today; please feel free to book your reservation and have a great stay!

Good receptionist (Mexican lady) They organize publ crawls every night so it is very active hostel. Common area is very good such as the kitchen. The lady from Argentina who organizes the pub crawls is also very nice and with good energy. Air conditioning was good and they help you to save your back after check out if u need it. I will recommend this hostel. Probably one of the best in madrid. They are also very aware of the cleaning which is great. Location also good I will say the only not good thing is that they closes the common areas at 11pm. But is kinda understandable because madrid is very active and they take care of the guest so they can sleep well.

Only possible fault was that the common areas were shut from 11pm, really wasn’t a problem or fault of the hostel just found that some nights we wanted to come back and hang out a bit but didn’t have anywhere to sit

Everything from the room, to the bed, to the clean kitchen and bathrooms. The staff was amazing as usual. And Puerta del Sol is a 5 minute walk away. Someone stole my food out of the fridge, but that’s not on the hostel.

Location There was a group of girls staying in the dorm who were talking loudly, making a lot of noise, and getting ready to go out until around midnight. I asked them once to keep the noise down because I couldn't sleep, even with my earplugs, but it was still very loud. It would be great if the staff could put up a sign reminding guests to keep quiet after 10 p.m. or mention quiet hours during check-in. I think that would help make the stay more comfortable for everyone.

The kitchen closes at 11pm... Can't cook...not even a sandwich you can prepare.

excelente sitio en términos de ubicación, muy cerca de la puerta del sol caminando y a menos de dos minutos de la estación de metro así que lo hace perfecto para un viajero ligero como nosotros. nunca se hizo limpieza de las habitaciones, rentan las toallas de baño por un costo adicional.

Location and staff were great Top beds are not comfortable to climb and mine was also shaky and making sounds whenever I move.

Room is very loud, people walk in and out at all ours of night and the lockers are drawers that drag loudly on the floor. The door handle closes super loud, it’s impossible to sleep. Bathrooms are very small and there are only 2 showers and 1 toilet for the whole floor

The staff was very helpful. I was in a difficult situation and they helped me to resolve it as perfect as possible. I can’t thank them enough. The kitchen and other facilities have everything you need. I would certainly stay here again The music in the reception and kitchen area was too loud, I had to use my earplugs all the time, and I saw other people were using them too. I guess it is difficult for the staff too to have this noise exposure all day long. It would be helpful to tone down the music or shut it down completely. It was the only downside of my stay at the Way hostel in Madrid; everything else was great, and I can certainly recommend it to anyone.
