Madrid Marriott Hotel Princesa Plaza

This hotel was the first time I've stayed at a 4 star that actually was a 4 star. I chose it because I'd been traveling a long time and it was my last week. Madrid is hot and folks have different air conditioning standards there than what I am used to. I was satisfied with the air conditioning in this hotel and found my AC actually worked. Customer support was pretty good, there was more of a language barrier than I expected but when things like losing a room key came up they fixed it super fast without giving me a hard time. I wish it was easier to see the menu for the restaurant in the lobby. I was nervous to use it the first few days because I didn't know how to find out what they were serving. But once I used it it was great! Also wish it was easier to get access to a pool with how hot it was. The hotel appears to be attached to a shopping center but I never found a way to access the tunnel to walk over. It looked like there was construction going on though.

definitely i will come back here very good in service i had a small issue in my room and they acted in less than 30min and they give me another room it’s supposed to be 5 star hotel

Actually the location, the area is quite and near to main sites and districts The service was horrible and didn’t meet the standard level of any 3 stars hotel !!!

The hotel has a very good location and the room was comfortable, which was useful for my work-related stay while attending the RCEA academic conference in Madrid. The general facilities were adequate, and the location made it convenient to move around the city. Some service aspects could have been better. One night, I asked whether I could buy something to drink because I was very thirsty, and I was simply told that this was no longer possible, without being offered any alternative. I found this surprising for a hotel of this category, especially because drinking water is a basic need. Also, on one occasion we asked at the front desk for the room to be cleaned, but it was not done, so we had to ask again.
