super clean very attentive the only thing I did not like were the curtains of the bedroom too heavy grey velvet fabric ( strange vibe)

It was the perfect quiet location yet close to lots of nice restaurants and shops and close enough to walk to some of the museums I like the idea of à la carte breakfast because I can never eat so much from a buffet. However, the quality of the coffee and the food served was just OK. Nothing special and somehow it didn’t match the quality of the hotel.

The perfume scent in the lobby was extremely strong at all times, giving me a bit of nausea. For a 4-star hotel, I expected a more grand lobby and reception. And in agreement with other reviews that lighting in the rooms could be difficult for those with vision difficulties.

The hotel location was ideal for walking in both Salamanca and Prado Blvd. Breakfast was complete, with a nice variety of options, and staff both at front desk and in breakfast room were very helpful. Temp of the shower water didn't get as hot as we'd like.

We stayed in the attic room with terrace and it was a phenomenal room and excellent service. Daily housekeeping, delicious in room coffee and many special touches like slippers, water, heated towel rack, vanity kits, etc. Amazing outdoor space for morning coffee. Nothing, everything was fantastic.

Super centraly located, close to Paseo La Castellana and easy access to everything in Chamberí and Salamanca.

The first room we were given was dark, on a lower floor, and had a painting fallen over the bed. Dust bunnies from the fallen artwork were everywhere. Fortunately we were given an upgrade to a higher floor, with an outdoor patio. Bed was uber-comfortable, bathroom and bar were well stocked. Staff was super helpful and accommodating. Fallen picture on bed,, smaller and darker room than advertised. But this was rectified immediately.

Good and nice rooms with good bathrooms. Good and quiet location. Simple hotel but designed beautifully. Also you feel safe in this area due to high security in the area.

Very well located and appointed beautifully. Javier was a professional gentleman that took his role at Casa Almagro with grace and consideration. We will not forget our 50th anniversary trip to Madrid and Javier played an important part of this memorable week.

Room didn’t have much of a view, facing another building leaving not much room for natural lighting. Mattress could be a little softer.
