Catalonia Goya is set in a 19th-century building, next to Velázquez Metro Station, in Madrid’s exclusive shopping district. It offers free Wi-Fi, and is 5 minutes’ walk from Retiro Park. The soundproofed rooms have air conditioning and feature wooden floors and elegant dark furniture. All rooms feature double-glazed Climalit windows. Each has flat-screen satellite smart TV equipped with Chromecast app, and there is a mini-bar and safe. The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer. The hotel features a café-bar, which is open until 23:00. There is a 24-hour front desk and room service until 23:00h. Guests can enjoy a small fitness center and the new plunge pool in the patio next to the bar. It is open during summer months. Easy check in, SUPER helpful and kind bilingual staff, FANTASTIC breakfast, quiet rooms, great water pressure and towels, and excellent lighting. Saw one roach in the entry

The location is super central, and the metro stop is literally outside the hotel!! Lots of restaurants and shopping to do in the area, which generally feels clean and safe. The room is comfortable, clean, spacious, and smells nice. Breakfast is a highlight here, so good!!!! We would 100% stay here again in Madrid.

Friendly and professional staff. Clean room serviced every day. Even though we were near the elevator we didn’t hear a thing. Very quiet room with great aircon. Breakfast was great and a drink in the bar at night very relaxing. Superb location. Will stay here again next time I’m in Madrid.

I loved the room, even if I didn’t had a nice view it made up for it! Approved for women 100% (mirrors, esthetics etc). It’s also walking distance to nice cafes, shopping and restaurants It was noisy when people are talking outside in the hall

The location is ver good The rooms comfortable and the bathrooms very good I found the system of the front desk ,lobby and cafeteria for breakfast a lttle confusing..!all in different floors but the rest was good The girl in the breakfast area was rather impatient with the room number before giving us a table since I did not remember the numbers of the 3 rooms
