The apartment was clean and the interior looked like the pictures. The apartment was very cold and the windows were not sealed at all, so cold that my spouse got a bad cold! The split did not respond to the heating! Also, the access to the entrance door and the apartment was very complicated and bad! The access code was sent at the last minute and really made the job harder and more complicated! And the location of apartment was not good at all.

The only thing to like about this apartment is the floorplan (i.e. separate bedroom), which makes it convenient if you travel with a child or children. From the moment you set your foot through the door, you realize what an absolute 'bait and switch' you walked into. The photos on the listing look nice, warm, welcoming: the apartment appears to be clean and well-kept. It could not be further from the truth: the walls in all of the rooms have marks and scratches, the electric socket in the living room is not flush against the wall (hazard for the child), the living room curtain has a hole in it, the arm chairs have chemical stains, and, most importantly, upon walking in, you notice a smell of chemicals and cigarettes. Getting the heaters to work was a challenge initially (one remote for two adjacent appliances), and when they finally did work you had to walk a fine of keeping the rooms warm and not drying the air to the point of not being able to sleep. A washer/dryer unit does wash, but does not allow changing the temperature for drying leaving you with damp clothes (even after 3 drying cycles). Last but not least, the location -- well, while you can reach the center by metro, it's not a place you'd feel comfortable having your wife and child walking alone in the evening or leaving your car on the street. Having read the other reviews after we checked in, I still cannot comprehend how our experience ended being so wildly different. Perhaps we got stuck with an older, worn-down apartment (we got the ground floor unit) that ruined our stay -- just beware that you may get a unit that's a complete disaster and bait-and-switch. Totally not worth what we paid for it.

That it had a lift, was exceptionally quiet, lots of natural light, cotton sheets, comfortable beds, very well equipped kitchen. We had an issue with the pillows in the beginning, but the property was quick to rectify that for us. Not that we 'didn't like', but as a suggestion, perhaps give guests the option between the complimentary orange juice or more coffee pods?

The pictures are accurate. The checkin is pretty easy. The appartment is nice equipped for short stay. We have no complains about our stay If you travel with car, it is hard to park. But it is general problem for whole Madrid I think

They did take care of the smallest things, providing you not only with the night stay, but also with water and bear for the start

Very responsive host, answered quickly to questions or requests. The apartment was well maintained and very clean. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Nothing. But some people might find it hard to walk uphill to get there.

Apartment looked nothing like the pictures. Floor was dirty when arriving, and they forgot the crib we requested. Someone came pretty quick to resolve that. Washing machine leaked with first use, bad communication about that issue, after they resolved this, the floor was dirty again and stuff was left behind. Location and neighbourhood wasn’t great.

The only downside was that one of the two AC units (the one in the bedroom) had an unpleasant smell.

The apartment itself was nice, but the location wasn’t very convenient. It’s a bit of a climb uphill, which made getting back after sightseeing—especially with luggage or kids—quite tiring. Would recommend for those okay with the extra walk, but families might prefer something closer to the main attractions.

Except for the location, everything was just as I needed for a few days stay...

I love the apartment and how easy it was to get access the room. The apartment was very clean and offered everything we needed. They put us in a room for people with special needs, even though I didn't ask for it. So the bathroom was not very comfortable to use.

+ fairly good location, about 15 minutes walk from the metro + store not far away + the neighborhood itself rather not in the center, but on the 'sidelines' thus there is no urban bustle from the bars outside the window + large space + all necessary things were on site (including kitchen utensils) + complimentary drinks in the refrigerator, a very nice touch + easy access to the room as well as the main gate from the app - the windows are leaky and cold air comes in through them, if you come to Madrid in the colder season, this can be problematic - open stairwell and doors at night, which made about 3 nights some noises of work or neighbors could be heard in the middle of the night

The appartment is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. It has some nice things like coffee, milk and coffee machine, and some snacks. We had a ground floor appartment, and it has small windows and poor lighting

The apartment was modern and well-equipped, with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The location was very convenient — close to supermarkets, bars, and restaurants. The metro stations were just a 7-minute walk away, which made it easy to get to the city center. Unfortunately, the toilet was not working properly during our stay, which caused some inconvenience. Hopefully, this will be fixed for future guests.
