المكان والنظافة وصلت الى الاوتيل وانصدمت من شكل العماره مافي استقبال مافي احد يرشد على مكان الغرفه بصعوبة عرفت اوصل للغرفة، حجم الغرفه صغير جدا جدا ، طلبت منهم تغير الغرفه الى اكبر مع دفع الفرق وابلغوني بعدم امكانية ذلك ولما طلبت التحدث مع المدير اجابوني بعدم وجود مدير، الاوتيل بالدور الرابع والرسبشن بالدور السابع ولا يوجد وسيلة اتصال بالرسبشن. لا يتوفر ماء ولا قهوه غير يوم الدخول فقط لا يوجد مكواة ملابس نهائياً. اسوء تجربة بالنسبه لي.

Central Location The reception was on an upper floor (floor 7 from memory) so we had to use a lift with our luggage which was tiny and extremely slow so took a good 20 minutes to queue and eventually access the reception level. The room was very small with very little space to move around the bed. There was a scaffolding platform level with the window meaning we had to keep the curtains closed. The walls were paper thin and the noise transference level from the adjoining room was completely overwhelming. It was still invasive when wearing headphones. It was as if the occupants were in the same room! Which I guess they were as clearly it was one space VERY badly divided. The hotel staff, whilst very pleasant in their manner, advised they did not have the authority to move us to another room or engage with any aspect of a complaint procedure and could not reach the manager in order for me to speak to him directly. We were therefore left with no choice but to leave the hotel after only a few hours occupancy and find alternative accommodation for the entire duration of our stay. I also followed procedure and registered a complaint along with my reasons for leaving the accommodation with Booking.com before I physically left the building. It is now almost 11 weeks after this very distressing experience and to date the management have failed to respond to a further attempt to communicate in person by myself before I left the general location and to several missives from Booking.com. So here we are at the end of July and I am yet to receive the refund that Booking.com advised I would be given and the hotel has not, to my knowledge, been penalised in any way........AVOID!

Very good

Convenient location, close to metro and walkable distance from many famous squares, streets and city highlights. It was difficult to find the address as there were constructions in front of it. Elevator is very small and slow. Reception and the rooms are not on the same floor which is not indicated in the ground floor lobby, but you realize it only when you go to the indicated floor and see a board telling the reception is 3 floors up. Room was very small. Sheets and towels quite old. Thin walls, we could clearly hear the people from the rooms next door as well as the street noise until very late in the night.

Location, cleanliness of Carmen- Gran Vie ( indide the hostal) Building is run down and very dirty. Paper cups snd little toilet paper. Breakfast was poor.

Excellent location - right in the centre of madrid. Close to shopping but there were also great side streets to explore for little cafe and restaurants - much quieter without the crowds. The walls were not well sound proofed - so conscious of this. Luckily those around me were quiet too!

Limpieza y Ubicación. El Aire Acondicionado no enfriaba y lo controlaban de central subiendo temperatura. En una ola de calor eso no funcionaba y DEBERÍA FUNCIONAR. Tráfico elevado en el único ascensor para todo el edificio. Desayuno bueno pero muy reducido. La habitación no es la que habíamos reservado. Había reservado una habitación con vistas peroo… Todo el edificio tiene andamios en la fachada desde hace 2años(que pregunté), eso significa NO HAY VISTAS.

The property was very clean and the people there were very kind. It was unfortunate we did not have a view since there was construction going on but still a very beautiful location. The location was ok – close to the sights and the neighborhoods that we like Only 1 reception for 4 floors of hostels. Dirty, small rooms, no soundproof at all, the photos in Booking do NOT relate to the reality.

Execellent location. The view on the terrace where they serve breakfast is worth the price. Old, tired building. Soundproof in the room quite poor.

while in the room the TV was not working, the administrator try to fix it without success. The management informed me they giving me a 15% discount, but I need to contact the agency I did the bucking to credit into the credit card use. On the process I hope I don't have any problem on the process. Looking for booking.com to credit the 15% into my account. The TV didn't work. The pot sometimes leak.

Stayed many times in the building, location excellent, everything just a few steps away. Shame the front of the building is under repair which took away the views of Gran via.
