The location was very central, everything was very accessible. The staff were incredibly, super kind and helpful.

The location is excellent (near Atocha and the metro), but what I really appreciated was the kindness and flexibility of the two ladies at the reception. They were incredibly helpful and allowed me to store my luggage after check-out, which made my last day in Madrid very comfortable. Thank you for everything!

Near the Turistica city center of Madrid. Very small but comfortable.

The rooms are pretty basic. Mine was dark and had a very small window. Fortunately I was able to change to a brighter room on the second day of my stay.

The location was insane, it is almost 15 minutes by feet to everywhere. The end of the street the hotel is in contains a metro station too! The room was compact but highly enough. The shower, AC, and the toilet are clean and working without a problem! Would go there again. The curtains weren't working well so either they were hitting the bed or not closing anything at all. The Room is really small in terms of ability to work on a table. The wardrobe is not big enough for two people.

Firstly the lady who runs the hostal is soo nice, kind and helpful; I want to thank her one more time from here. Even she doesn’t have to, she took my luggage after check out for hours. Secondly, even though the building and the facility is not modern the room (including the bathroom inside) was very clean. Location is also close to everywhere you would like to see in Madrid, its very central. There is no Air conditioner in the room but there were a ventilator which was working well, I didnt have any problem with the heat during my stay. Overall, it was a nice stay thank you to Hostal Zabala again:)

I stayed at two rooms. The first was very hot, small, noisy and smelled of mold. They provided a fan, but it was not clean.

Perfect location. Very easy check in and checkout. Clean and safe. You really can hear everything on the street and in the other rooms.

The location was very handy. Lots of BiciMAD bikes at Anton Martin metro. Great breakfast coffee shop and wine bar by metro. Staff were very nice. Clean room and private bathroom. There was often quite a bit of noise late at night from the street, as there was a more spacious section of sidewalk next to Hostal where young people often gathered until early hours of morning.

The property was in a great location and we felt incredibly welcome when we arrived. We stayed one night and it was perfect for what we needed.

Basic but super clean hostel, in the best location of central Madrid, and NO traffic noise! Nice staff and comfy beds! Everything was great!

The room was very decent for the price I paid, and the room was clean and comfortable with a spacious bathroom. The stuff were very friendly and welcoming! The location was ideal as it was about 15-20 minutes walking distance from the center.
