The hotel looks old. The room carpet looks old and dirty. Location is not very convenient if you want to be close to historical places.

The room was modern, spacious, well soundproofed, very clean. Very handy to the city's excellent bus and metro. The air conditioning was effective and absolutely silent. The elevator system was excellent once we learned how to use the call system. The concierge staff were very helpful. When we arrived the gentleman who checked us in was not welcoming. He was obviously not interested in answering any questions and didn't even take us to the elevators to show us how the very unusual elevator call system worked. He was unfriendly and rude; his english was not good, apparently. We arrived late afternoon and went to the bar/cafeteria for some food; my burger was cooked almost raw despite my request for medium. I can't comment on the breakfast buffet because we had a light breakfast daily in the bar, but it looked pretty good. Dinner was not up to scratch for a 4-star hotel. The dining room was empty on our last night. My fish was quite mushy, obviously frozen and then soaked in water; I had been told when ordering that it was fresh. Don't eat there! The serving staff were fine.

The hotel and staff were lovely and the breakfast was awesome. There is a lot of noisy construction right beside the hotel so there was some noise but the hotel was near a cute neighborhood.

Nothing to like about a hotel that is not hygienic, too noisy and rudest staff ever. We had chemical poisoning at the hotel after a repairman tried to fix the restroom. The hotel management did not even apologize and was exceptionally rude. They are especially discrimated against Turkish people. Never ever stay here if you want to survive your trip.

Coffee maker had issues - the pod kept falling down - poorly designed/ no specific instructions. Elevators are very small ... 2 people with reasonable luggage could hardly fit in one.

Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Also enjoyed the "Welcome" apple water that was available at the entrance. (Did not eat in the restaurant so I cannot comment on that. We had trouble with the coffee maker. We liked the idea of making a cup of coffee, but it would be good to have simple instructions near the machine.

Great and safe locale for solo female

location, location, location! Close to everywhere that I wanted to visit, easy access by metro and bus, a peaceful and cozy residential neighborhood - Retiro - like an oasis, far enough from the touristic hassle, a heartfelt neighborhood feeling, like home! The staff was very friendly. There was a construction - a lot & lot dust and noise. That was not mentioned at booking, I may not have preferred to stay. They tried to compensate this by moving me to an inner-court facing room, that was quiet. But it was too dark and dull. There is not much of a comfortable common area like lounge. For limited time it is bearable, but with all this dark mood in the room, I could not find a spot where I can work / study / socialize. The hotel looked like more modern from pics, but it is a bit heavy inside the room and with such dark inner-court scenery. So it was a tradeoff between noisy and dark stay.

The room for four was very small better if they suggest 2 rooms instead of trying to fit all in one room

Breakfast and restaurante service is very nice, room is a very good average, bathroom has a little improvement in terms of the design of shower but over all the hotel is great and super well located, and well maitained facilities we did not had any experience that we dislike, pleople was super nice and very friendly.

The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The ammenities were nice and the area was very safe and quiet. The location was very far from the main attractions.

Everything was perfect. It is a bit expensive.
