The room was large, comfortable, and the bathroom was especially good. Desk clerk spoke English. The shower diverter was very difficult to operate. Shampoo pump didn't work the first night but the staff replaced it the second night. We weren't happy with the breakfast charge of 15 euros because the elevator ad showed it to be 13 euros. Since we are not Spanish speakers, we did not read that the 13 euro rate was only in advance. It would have been nicer if the check in person at the desk had reminded us of this. The food selection in the cafeteria was small but the quality of what we got was satisfactory. Personnel were very responsive. We didn't like that the neighborhood around the hotel had very few amenities and the construction on the street made our first trip to Madrid less than memorable.

Muy comodo y lindo hotel, el personal muy amable y el desayuno muy bueno y variado. Volveria a hospedarme en las proximas visitas a Madrid Estuvo muy bien la estancia, es un hotel grande y en una linda zona, lo recomiendo si es un buen precio en temporada asi que muy bien por el precio que tenia.

The staff is great and it’s well located if you are coming through the Atocha train station. It’s a bit far from the airport. The bathrooms are super small and the tub is high so if you have any type of physical issues, keep that in mind. I asked to change but I guess they were full. Stayed there for a few days: 2 rooms and 4 of us but I regretted it because of the bathroom. I walk with two crutches so getting in and out of the tub was not easy. A shower would have been helpful.
