I found Hotel Opera on Booking and was very positively surprised with the per-night fee. This hotel is walking distance to Puerta del Sol (maybe 4 minutes if you don’t stop to shop or eat an ice cream) and to many other places like San Ginés, Gran Vía, L’Oro di Napoli, clothing stores, and restaurants. The hotel has around-the-clock service in case you need anything, and a reasonably priced restaurant for your convenience. The room was relatively small but that’s what I chose because that’s what I needed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom has all you need (soap, shampoo, lotion) for a comfortable stay. I’d add black-out shades in the room.

The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing ! The rooms was a little bit too small for three people.

Location, nice design, comfort The place to serve breakfast and breakfast itself. I’d like to have more vegetables /vegetarian options. Also in the hotel restaurant my daughter ordered vegetarian croquettes and was served ham croquettes without any warning that they are bringing something else because they run out of spinach croquettes. This is was a disaster as my daughter didn’t eat pigs for 10years and never wants to eat them. She was crying and was very upset. The waiter shouldn’t be so ignorant.

Fantastic location just next to Royal Palace and walking distance to center, welcome was great, supervisor and all male receptionists were of great assistance and very accommodating. Everything was excellent except we had some AC issues that couldn’t be fixed. We eventuellt moved rooms. Lady w short hair in reception very arrogant and could improve her approach and attitude.
