INTER Plaza Mayor - Auto Check-in

The description mentioned a hair dryer which was not provided. The door code provided in advance did not work, would have been nice to know you need to ask it on arrival.

Liked the quirkiness of the building, the room was clean, bed and linens same, that's very basic accomodation These things need discussion: staff are often the guests, which makes the value "paid dearly for something worthless," and the staff who work there are often divided between a job market explorer and a person who is actually working, as if you need to teach the working human how to be both? Why ruin the human staff with your automation?

Location Nothing

The location is fantastic. The process of accessing the property was stressful, because the online check-in did not work. However, when we could get in contact with the administration, they were very kind and diligent.

After reading the reviews (specifically on Google) I was a little scared to arrive. But the place is great for what it is! The bathroom was in great condition, towels perfectly white, room was as decent as I expected. Check in was not at all as painful as some describe: you're supposed to check in in advance on the website they send you and then it takes clicking 3 or 4 times to get your receipt and a room key (which always worked as expected). If you don't do that, yes, it will take a few minutes, so just do it in advance. It is quite loud at all hours of the day, outside (which is to be expected in the very center of the city) and inside. Strong smell of fish in the morning from some food place downstairs probably. Heating doesn't turn off.

Location is perfect, 1 minute away from Plaza Mayor. The hotel itself was pretty clean and good Noise cancellation is poor, u can hear everything that your neighbours do

Automatic check in DID NOT WORK AT ALL. At our arrival, we found a couple of guests trying to check in as well and couldn't. We both had to contact the Whatsapp number a couple of times to get it done. Not a fan of failed automation.

Not like the pictures. Disappointed. I didn’t get any instructions about how to get inside. There’s no one to help you out. I was late night for about 30 minutes waiting to get inside but no one could help. I tried to call reception several times but it wasn’t successful. Lucky me there was a guest who helped me, otherwise I would be until now waiting for get inside.

Quality AC in the room (minisplit unit) Elevator Clean bathroom with sink, toilet, and walk-in shower Location one block from Plaza Major and Plaza Santa Cruz. A Maintenance person was on site each day and the place was well maintained. Good housekeeping. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants close by. The elevator only goes to the third floor. The rooms are on the third and fourth floors. Good luck if you get a room on the fourth floor. There didn't seem to be any emergency exits. It felt like a fire trap. I didn't like the auto check-in. All the tedious information input could've been handled in advance online. There was no staff present. It is all auto check-in and out. There is a phone number to call in case of difficulties but it wasn't always answered i a timely fashion. The room "keys" are blank cards with no instructions on them as to how to insert to unlock and open the door. Each new guest could be heard grumbling as they worked at opening their door.

Well the room was adequate with a comfy bed, shower room and toilet included air conditioning and a TV.. Location was great next to Plaza Mayor and Gran Vía and plenty of cafetieras and restaurants. Well I ve said all the positives but I have to also say my stay and my friend was not without incident. Unfortunately because there is no reception you have to check in electronically even if you have already done it through bookings.com. So when you have a problem there is only a telephone and a WhatsApp telephone number for you to call. My friend was given the 318 room which was on the ground floor unfortunately the person who who checked us in did not asignaturas that room as accupied and this cause a cascade of problems as booking some other people in and my friend been locked out of her room after we arrived very late from a concert and a mobile number thatvtook ages to be answered. There was also a lady at reception who was having problems checking in and had been there for over 30 minutes at 1.30 pm and apparently had been trying to call the mobile number but went directly to voice mail. We found you could hear all the noise from the corridors from everyone coming in and out. Also you need a four digit number to get into the building therefore as they don't provide it beforehand you have to wait till someone comes in or out or they answer the phone when called. I forgot to mention my pillow was like a brick. luckily the cleaner found one which was quite battered but at least it was softer.

The only good thing about this hostel is its Central location. The room was dirty and smelly, also complicated procedure to check in. It is impossible to reach them, I need a bill and even I tried to contact them by the customer service, no answer. Waste of money.

Location was good, wifi was very stable Cleanliness was very poor, mould around the windows and peeling paint in the room. My pilllow had a stain on it that looked like blood!! Facilities were extremely basic, no shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries on, and the shower screen fell apart when I tried to pull it across! Walls were paper thin, so sleeping was not easy either(once you got over the fact that the pillow had a bloodstain on it!).

Perfecto location. The self check-in was okay with the reference number or lastname. Something to improve is communication because they didn’t send us the code to enter the building.

location,clean. room was too small ,smells very bad unable to move around .entrance of the bed was Infront of the toilet unable to sleep due to bed was uncomfortable.

The room was really comfy and has a great location. You get restaurants all around it and shops to buy things as reminders. Something important to mention is that it has really easy access, so that's important. No dislikes
