It was a great location within short walking distance of the palace which is a great place once the heat of the day fades into sunset. Gran Via and the other main walking areas of Madrid are close by as well

The location was amazing. It's been my favorite hotel when I visit Madrid because you are few steps from the Royal Palace, from metro station, from Gran Via and Sol plaza. The friendliness of staff Good pricing Comfortable beds Breakfast quite basic but it's a 2star hotel, so people that are not peaky eaters will find something for themselves. We loved the sweet pastries and cookies. We booked 3 rooms and all three had very bad lighting. We came to Madrid for a concert so it was a nightmare getting ready and doing our makeup. One of the rooms had extremely bad sewer smell. The same room also had ants. It's very unfortunate because I've stayed in this hotel many times before and never any issues. One of our guests was very unsatisfied. We didn't make a deal out of it because the guest noticed ants during the last night. The bathroom furniture was quite worn ou in all of the rooms. Would be good to have fresh orange juice.

We really enjoyed our stay! Lovely clean room with all facilities you might need. It’s located in a side street so it’s quiet but a little plaza with metro is few meters away and you can walk a great busy promenade with shops and restaurants right from there. Great breakfast we enjoyed every morning with lots of fresh products. They had some issues with AC and it didn’t work the first night but they did all they could to help us. Really accommodating and helpful.

It’s a beautiful hotel located in the heart of Madrid. It was clean, comfortable, and the service was excellent. The only thing missing was air conditioning. Other than that, everything was perfect! The only thing missing was air conditioning.

Very good buffet breakfast Using stairs they are black with a dull grey edge stripe that can make them hard to negotiate for some, including my wife who struggled with them visually.

It was so close to Metro Opera and lots of restaurants! All really delicious! Also, the beds were super comfy. The water pressure amazing and the AC kept us really cool! The noise. We were street side, so the car noise and also the elevator noise. But we are not light sleepers so it doesn't bother us.
