The building

It didn't have a microwave.

Room was comfortable and space. Lots of food options a short walk away. Easy to get to metro system. No notes. I was happy with everything.

Good money for value

The room was stuffy, so I had to open the window, which stank of cigarette smoke and was noisy all night. Furthermore, the refrigerator made a noise like it was cooling a hadron collider. The bed was apparently a 160 cm bed, way too narrow for two people. We didn't get a good night's sleep at all. The bathroom amenities were extremely worn out, and the shower head leaked so much that more water came out of the leak than out of the shower head. The sink faucet splashed because the diffuser was worn out. The toilet brush was missing (Seriously? They cost 1.5 euros at Ikea!). Bottom line: never again.

But room was comfortable, quiet and shower was hot.

at around 5am in the morning, we heard people trying to unlock the door to our room. it took several attempts but the door actually ended up opening and the people walked into our room and woke us up. this was an invasion of privacy and they say us in a state we did not want anyone to see us in. the people apologized and left the room but this is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. We talked to the reception there and the manager and he said he will have to check the cameras to make sure this happened, and indeed he saw that it did happen. The hotel management later sent us an apology and when we asked for a compensation for this breaking of breech and traumatizing event they refused

Struggle to book thru their website and they didn’t pick up the phone Could be noisy if you are next to the street

Excellent location and price.

Great location, near the metro line.

Thin walls meant noise from other rooms late evening.

Front desk staff very nice. Neighborhood is outside of tourist area so got to experience Real Madrid. Laundromat 1 block away. Plenty of cafes and grocery nearby.

Everything was ok!

this is a good cheap option in madrid - it is not near the main downtown areas - but it is generally close to a couple metro lines - so was perfect for travel - and the staff was super nice, allowing me to check in a few hours early - supe solid value for money

Great location, Comfy beds pretty clean nice staff quiet building, relaxing environment toiletries provided as well as towels A/C unit was not working well for most of the stay. it kept the room relatively fine but not as cool as I would have liked. The air filter in it was also very very dirty and i went ahead and cleaned it myself in hopes it would make the unit work better. on my last night, it suddenly started working fine and cooled the room down perfectly

the hotel staff was not aware of the closeness of the Nuevos Ministerios Metro station as easy access to the airport. the walls were thin.

This hotel was conveniently located near the metro, on a quiet street. The staff was very friendly. Everything looked to be newly renovated and the rooms, lobby et al were spotless. Rooms and bathroom was very spacious. We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises. If you have heavy luggage you would have to carry it up 2 deep steps.

The woman at the front desk was very attentive and very helpful! We ask her for a recommendation for a restaurant and she gave us a great recommendation. Maybe one of the best meals we had on our whole trip. It was close enough to walk to the metro to catch our flight the next day. it’s the first place I’ve ever stayed where there was no coffee maker in the room and no coffee offered in the lobby. So you do have to go out to get your coffee. Not a big deal for one night day, but I probably would’ve gotten tired of that after a while.
