2nd time there! Place is awesome! Location is awesome! Booked this place but flight didn’t work out. Paid Wed-Sun. Flight was Thurs-Sun. It was non-refundable BUT I messaged the property and they said it no problem BUT I need to make the change through booking.com. When I did the hotel refused to make the change and charged me full price. It was my fault so I was ok with it! BUT the hotel jerking be around and telling me it was ok but do it through the company then telling me no was an ANNOYING waste of time! I still can’t say anything bad about the property or employees. They are all super helpful, welcoming and friendly! Jarule is STILL our favorite!

Property needs updating

Everything about this property was great! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is amazing - right next to Maho beach and a short taxi ride to the airport. Plus there’s a lot to do around the property that is easy to walk to, like a casino and shops and restaurants. N/A

Hotel charged me twice for my stay, i have called and emailed them multiple times and noone ever calls me back or seems to care. They just took my money (twice) and refuse to answer any requests for a refund or why they even charged me twice

We enjoyed having access to both pool and ocean for swimming. There were lots of loungers and shade from both trees and umbrellas. Staff were very kind, helpful and accommodating - we were travelling with a baby and they allowed early check in. It’s in a very busy area with both street noise and constant airport noise. We spent a week in lovely quiet Orient Bay prior to checking in for one night and the noise made it hard to relax.

The staff at the facility was extremely helpful and friendly! Ms. Jenel at the reception desk was a pleasure to speak with each day. Her presence alone is causing me to think about returning to Royal Islander more than any other facility! My only disappointment was that there was no sharing of facilities usage between La Plage & Le Terrasse.

Location, Tortuga restaurant is okay The staff, the super outdated and smelly room, no functioning AC, super expensive and extremely unfriendly staff. None of our requests prior to the booking (cot, late checkout) were even answered (despite repeated messages) and when we asked about them when we only received a very condescending reply without any action being taken. For this kind of price, please do yourself a favor and book something else.

Almost everything to be honest it was a lovely experience. I didn’t like that check-out was all the way until 4pm, and we came back at 4pm, and the room still wasn’t ready. They tried giving us another room, which I wasn’t happy with because I wanted what I paid for not a ground floor with a garden view. Eventually, a lovely Indian lady said, 'Hold on, they’ll get the room ready for us that we paid for.' We went upstairs to the room; the maids were still cleaning it, and we had to wait about 10 minutes again. When they were done, they said to wait about 2 minutes for the floor to dry. Waiting was the only issue we had because we wanted to relax in the room.

Great location! Restaurant on property is also great! Airport is literally next to the property, so you can see planes fly in/ out. Also gave me late check out. Nothing. I had no issues.

Quiet and calm resort They charge me double coz they didnt cancel my other reservation even though i already explained to them that i got a promo from my airline. They didnt give me any consideration. Booking.com told me that the resort can also cancel on their end but to no avail they didnt want to consider.

The hotel apartment was great; equipped with a good kitchen, good bathroom, comfortable living area with a dining table and the beds are really comfortable. We slept so well at night. The units are well isolated for sound too, we were never bothered by noise from the outside. Great pool and restaurant, and easy access to the beach with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. nothing
