Breakfast was OK For $170(Au) a night I expect at least a decent shower, reliable internet and a clean air-conditioned room. Unfortunately, Aryaduta could not grant all of my wishes, even though they stated they could! After finding out the internet could not work in my room, we changed rooms, only to find that the next room had next to no water pressure, and no hot water. A technician came around to "fix-it", but could'nt so we were offered a 3rd room which had better water pressure, but still not a hot shower. In fact i did not have one hot shower my entire stay here. The internet in my 3rd room worked sometimes. Don't bother with the "Executive lounge"! Its just a few crowded lounge chairs in the back of the building over-looking the city side, with some finger food. It smelled strongly of paint when we arrived and we avoided it thereafter. A lot of little maintenance issues in general i found in each room. Doors sticking, Bidets getting jammed on, cracks in the bath-tub etc. Overall, a really disappointing stay in a hotel which at first glance looks like it had potential. There are better options for less money if you look around town.

The location of the Aryaduta Hotel is the best in Makassar. A stroll across the road to the harbour/ foreshore. The complimentary breakfast caters for all palets be they Euro or Asian, as does the a la carte menu. The thing that stood out for me at this hotel though was the staff from the desk to the wait staff and housekeeping they were all the friendliest I have come across in all my years of travel. I stayed here for close to 2 weeks because I enjoyed it that much. There was nothing to dislike

Probably one of the best places to stay in Makassar due to the amazing views and great location. Refined and old fashioned hotel by the sea, overlooking the city's landmarks. The restaurant and room service is available 24/7 and the staff are great. A lot of options for breakfast too! The carpeting and plaster in the room is dated and damaged by iron marks and moisture. This doesn't really affect our comfort, but it reminds me of the Silent Hill video game series.

Nothing wrong with the hotel it’s just that there was a sports conference with music and it went on till 3 am and then the mosque and then they started up again for a street run at 5 am. So not much sleep at all The noise from outside that continued all night

Breakfast was good. AC was not working in the room. Very basic room but quite expensive.

Not our first stay. Always our prefer place to stay when visite makassar Best location and always helpfull staff ?? First time of our stay here we get the room smell so humid, it says non smoking room but it smell cigarette and we found some cigarette butt at the trashbin in the bathroom.

Superb

Due to a delayed flight, we could only get to the hotel the morning after our check-in date. Despite this the hotel staff were very accomodating and ensured that we could still use the booking and gave us a free very late check out. We were so grateful for the kindness of the staff. all staff were extremely friendly/

Nothing We had booked a special offer for 2 Superior Rooms for 2 adults and two grown up kids. When presenting the print out booking.com voucher at the reception, they said that in their system there is only one room booked (for the same price and amount if people!). Asking for a solution, reception staff told us that it's a problem between us and booking.com. Only solution they could offer to us is to sleep with four people in one bed for the full price, or cancel the booking. Do we choose to cancel. When reporting to booking.com customer service, we are still waiting for an answer/explanation after more than two weeks. We ended up having to look for another place (not in booking.com!) for a much higher rate than initially booked at Aryaduta Hotel.

That time the swimming pool was under construction/maintenance. I was booking this hotel also because they have swimming pool.

best view to see makasar's icons even the hotel is old property in room nice to know the hotel service hotel good, are flexible there's no kids club there old properties in room access to pool using basement i stay in no smoking room, but i can smell smoke in coridor room
