The property is greenery, and clean. The rooms is good suitable for family with small kids and pools is clean. Very safety for a guests also the Staff very Hospitality and friendly. We like this place and very convenient to Tourists spots. No comment.

A lovely guesthouse full of historical character in Melaka. The owners are gracious hosts and get to know every guest. Delicious homemade breakfasts, a nice covered patio to relax on, and a relaxing dip pool with a pretty garden- what more can you ask for? As mentioned, we couldn’t resist the tasty breakfast, just suggest adding a few healthy options to the daily mix!

We had a wonderful few days in the Dutch House. The hosts were very helpful and presented an excellent breakfast with a selection of local delicacies. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and had a view on the pool which was a welcome respite after a days walking. The distance to all sites is comfortably walkable. There is a street with great restaurants nearby. The garden surrounding the property was full of plants and trees and pleasant to sit in and contemplate the history of the town and the house itself.

The breakfast was exceptional. We were treated to different Malaysian delights every morning and we always ate too much. So delicious. We loved the close access to the pool and it was wonderful to cool off after a day sightseeing in this very private pool. Sean and Natasha gave us lots of tips on where to visit, where to eat and what to eat. We could not recommend a stay here more highly.

We found this to be an absolutely fantastic place to stay. We were made to feel so so welcome by Sean and Natasha and were shown such wonderful hospitality. Our room was so comfortable & peaceful & we all slept so well. The garden is beautiful and a peaceful haven and the pool was so welcome on a hot day! The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and we really enjoyed all of the complimentary hot and cold drinks. The location is great - just a 10 min walk away from the old town & was very safe. It is a really beautiful home and we were welcomed like family! If we are passing this way again, we will certainly be staying here! We cannot recommend highly enough! Nothing- everything was perfect!

Sam and Natasha are great hosts with a great knowledge of their town. the pool is an absolute blessing after a day of exploring Malacca The location is ok just a short walk from Malacca town however there are no footpaths and the traffic flow can be a bit hectic.

Casugria is a lovely, enclosed and secure oasis in an excellent location to all of the sights.  The grounds of this former Dutch Governor's mansion are beautiful, green and lush as Natasha is a Botanist and planted the fruiting trees and flowers.  The rooms are four, adorable and comfortable, sound-proof cottages surrounding the pool and gardens and the compound is shady, quiet and serene.  A brutally hot afternoon does not feel so bad after a swim in the refreshing pool. Single, female or females traveling alone would feel perfectly safe at Casugria.  For everyone, the experience is so superior to a big, nondescript high-rise, do not hesitate to book this property as soon as you can. Last, but not least, were the incredibly delicious breakfasts which were varied and so substantial, we skipped lunch each day.  Be sure to try the yummy Malay, Indian and Chinese items provided.

Casugria Dutch Residence 1810 is a beautiful old Dutch home that deserves to be preserved, and we're grateful that we could contribute to this cause by staying there. Sean, Natasha and Stephanie were very welcoming and friendly and went beyond expectations to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and very comfortable with both a fan and airco for cooling. The breakfast buffet had limited choice, but was very good.

Very friendly host and well tasting food! Good knowledge of the town with very nice insider tips. Nothing to complain about.

We were made to feel very welcome by the owners and the staff. They were lovely and helpful with anything we needed. A variety of tasty breakfast dishes were offered. The setting of the villas is beautiful and peaceful in what is quite a busy area. I loved the lush tropical gardens. The pool was beautiful and refreshing. I found our room a little dark. I would have liked a small tv in our room. Only minor things, other than these things, everything was perfect.

Breakfast was freshly cooked every day and was very good. Good variation! All was very good. Staff was super friendly and helpful; the food was good and the room was comfortable. In the family room, the double bed is somewhat small for two adults.

How relaxing and quite can a hotel be in the middle of Melacca? In one word: perfect hosting by owner John and his wife, as were visitors receive a total caretaking feeling of what they need. The welcome was one of most warmful experienced in the Malaysia journee. The stay was simply perfect. City tours are organised by the son Brian of the family and I can highly recommend that one. The hotel is at walking distance of the city-centre. If you are looking for total care-taking experience for you as a visitor, don't look any further and book this hotel. The word 'hotel' seems big, but it's not, and that is the surprising part of this stay as well. A hidden gem where it's all about the visitor.
