Location nice near Jonker Street

The lock of room was broken, even though they have been very helpful and tried fixing it few times, the lock was still not attached to the door, loosen and dangling. We didn’t feel safe hence skip the stay and checked out same day. check in counter is opposite the hotel, If you are unable to carry heavy luggage’s on your own, it’s tedious to drag luggage’s across the street and climb up staircase. The only good thing is all staffs are very friendly and helpful.

The room we had was down a very long hallway and it felt like we were the only guests in the place during most of our stay, of course this is not the fault of the owners, but it felt off to us. We paid for breakfast to be included, but I wouldn’t do that again. It just wasn’t the quality we were expecting from a hotel. We skipped the remaining breakfasts after the first day and enjoyed them at coffee shops nearby.

Noise. Our room is facing the road and got awoken by the loud motorbike noise.

The staff are all very friendly, polite and helpful. The room was quite unsatisfied due to we were being appointed near the street and the sound proof was very bad. It was very noisy till about 3.30am and thus we don't have enough sleep

Staff were friendly and helpful, location was great and the accommodation was clean and comfortable.

The location is perfect. It is very near Jonker Walk. The toilet is on the lower floor.

A very comfortable historic property. The room was a great size for a family (with 2 teen boys!). Everything was spotless and the staff were very friendly. The included breakfast was simple but ample with a nice mix of local and western options. The property is ideally located and a short walk to all the Malacca highlights. Everything was great. A few extra touches that would have been nice for a room that size would have been some additional hooks for hanging wet towels, an extra luggage rack and even a coat rack (again extra hanging space). But again, nice to haves and certainly not deal breakers

The location, specially the view from the balcony I wish the hotel had an entrace at the other end of the property since our room was located at the other end of the property

Everything: location, facilities, incredible staff,, breakfast etc. N/A the only thing I would consider is the fact that there is no elevator in the building, so I wouldn't recommend to someone with mobility issues.

We liked the cool architecture features, the location was very close to the centre. It was quiet and calm. Nice breakfast but limited options, mostly asian. Stairs are difficult to navigate due to safety hazard, slippery, same colour etc. Layout was poor, stairs in room and TV location not the best. Unable to blackout the room.

Location is very near to all the places and very convenient. Picturesque interior design, and breakfast was super good. Room and bed are all comfy. Would highly recommend if you like a heritage style accommodation. Parking is a bit inconvenient as it is in another location and need to contact the hotel staff to collect the car if is in a garage. But they are very helpful so not a problem. Stairs are quite steep so need to be careful while going up and down. Overall very nice staying here.

Clean room, welcoming staffs, decoration of the staffs and great breakfast There was a steep stair in the room which was not confortable for my old parents.

The food there was really good! Location of the hotel is also strategic and you can easily walk to the attractions. Not enough secured parking lot at the hotel.
