It had a good location and was placed a bit back from the main road, so that was good We had to change room to get the bedsize we had ordered and both rooms were very dirty - not only in bad shape but also just bad cleaned. The towels were dirty as well. We ordered this hotel to have a pool, but each day for five days the pool was used for swimming practice for local kids, so there were absolutely no room for us at the pool.

Instead of 4 star hotel, It should be a 5 star hotel. What a great experience. Love all their staff. Unfortunately in our room, the wifi wasn’t working. But the one in the lobby works really well.

Staff really friendly and helpful. Location fantastic Breakfast choices poor and of low quality, no vegetarian option except rice porridge one day. Beds were as soft as hammocks. Bathroom was ancient, full of ants and a shower that could not be switched from tap mode. Located in a splendid Dutch colonial hotel which appears to have had no upgrade since they left 70+ years ago. It could be so much more. Very disappointed, when I suggested we leave my wife begged me to find somewhere else. First time we've ever done that.

Central location in historic area of Malang, good staff, last time in Malang was 1982, now a crowded busy city with understandable traffic issues. But we came specifically to see aging friends not seen in 50 years so the time spent with them up at Batu & nearby city areas was invaluable. half a million less people

Spacious room. OK for a night but value for money is not OK. One of the worst places we stayed in Indonesia. I suppose Malang generally is not a great place for travelers, too many rundown and overpriced options. The property needs to be renovated. If we assume that your budget does not allow a better place, be aware of the mosque nearby. Prayers start 4:15amish.

Great location. Historical building. Oldest hotel in Malang. Showing age but still very good. Breakfast was very basic. No juice and only a few Indonesian dishes.
