The room was clean. I was able to sit on the balcony and have some privacy if I didn't want to sit on the beach itself. The room and bathroom had plenty of space. Even when there was live music in the restaurant downstairs it was still relatively quiet in the room.

Calypso is located right on the stunning Boracay White beach. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Rooms are well appointed. Lovely, appropriate, live music played at the restaurant every night. It is a dive resort and the pool is designed accordingly so there is no space to lounge around the pool on sunbeds if that is your thing ... but the beach (with sunbeds supplied) is only steps away.

1st night room was extremely cold on arrival, didn't pay much attention to some water from condensation on the floor. Housekeeping came an wiped everything clean. Woke up in the middle of the night with wet floor from the condensation, It was like it had rained in the room. Complained to the reception and manager changed us rooms. Second room didn't have the same problem but the mood was low after that. The room probably has issues known to the management but still they rent it out to tourists

The location, clean rooms and amazing staff The only dislike was no option for a small breakfast for a child. Breakfast was included but way too big, we asked for just eggs for example instead of a full breakfast and got charged extra as it was not on the set menu.

Well-located oceanfront property with an amazing beach, super comfy beds, and very friendly staff with an amazing manager. First-floor family rooms are a bit dark—second floor is best! N/a

All staff that we had dealings with were fantastic, helpful and obliging. The man who set up with beach chairs and umbrellas stood out to us as just being a great employee. Lovely man to chat to and provide us with local information. Our room constantly had a damp smell and leaving our balcony door open was not an option as it looked out over dirty pipes and very close to other balconies with no flyscreens. I would open our room door from 5am just to let some fresh air into the room. There was no window in the bathroom so after our showers we would have to leave the external doors open for a long time, but still that damp smell lingered. Our toilets blocked twice, but the house keeping staff were fantastic.

Great view of the beach with an amazing restaurant with people that really enjoy their job serving you both morning and evening staff and they have live music while enjoying the sunset The hotel staff was also friendly and helpful but I went to Boracay to scuba dive and so I chose this place and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The dive instructors were all helpful and great but special thanks to Rowell for taking me on some amazing dives and instructing me through the advanced open water certification
