The standard of the hotel and the pool was nothing like the pictures. We had to change rooms several times because the toilets were not working, it was raining in through the door to the balcony, the balcony was locked because it was not safe to use, there were no towels or soap in the rooms, the pool had no sunbeds and closed at five in the afternoon, it was also a very unpleasan to walk through a rundown mall and building site to get to the pool. The stairs leading to the ocean was broken, so there no way to get down for a swim.

The sea view from the window is great. The room is relatively large. The hygiene is poor. The bathroom smells bad. I had to kill many small cockroaches.

Waiters at the restaurant were super nice but reception staff were not. Toilet little bit dirty, otherwise good place for few days

I like the fact that the hotel is fairly close to Megamas area. You would still need a car, or just walk like what I did, to Megamas. It's positioned close to the beach, so there's something to see–although not much. I also like that they have an ample parking space. I am just speechless by the quality of our room. Despite priced more than one of the chain hotels right across Megamas, Lion Hotel couldn't give us better quality. The window blind was ripped, the TV didn't work, the hot water in the sink didn't work, one of the faucet levers didn't work, the shower head was ugly and dirty, the wifi was very slow. To sum up, I felt that I had been ripped off.

Just the location that its in the city The staff doing checkin was not friendly. We checked in at 4pm, one of the room still not clean frm previous guests. All the room have some amenities missing or all are not well cleaned. Bathroom were dirty, one of the room dont have towel at all and had to wait for almost an hour for tower, other room doesn’t have soap ( we need to buy), the bed was made but looks like the sheets not properly clean have a lot of stains and the bed not tucked in. The hotel corridor smell smoke when there’s a sign for non smoking. The kettle inside the room are dirty looks like never been clean. All the rooms are poorly maintained.

Breakfast was good enough. Staff were always polite even when they could not answer my questions at times. The view from my room was fantastic and that view alone kept me sane during the time I was immobile due to tearing ligaments in my ankle. I could connect to the wifi but the wifi is not connected to an internet provider. The dining room bar does not sell alcohol, sadly. I am guessing that due to the COVID pandemic that funding for maintenance is tight. I wish that the tourism industry does return to preCOVID levels.

location WiFi was extremely poor, refrigerator not working, drains in shower not working, all flooded every-time,linen was old. and discoloured, TV no European channels, mostly Chinese and picture very poor quality fussy pictures on all channels. windows outside dirty, 2 person room only one glass and cup . cup had years of coffee strains inside it, no soap on room, shower shampoo very poor quality, fittings inside shower were over 20 years old and looked it, shower needed a good clean titles had ingrown mildew between titles and around fittings. No seats in room only a wooden stool and wooden bench.superior room????? whole hotel is dated and needs a total refurbishment, Felt like living in the 1960s Out side room, wallpaper peeling of walls, ceiling water damaged and places removed and not replaced. In addition I booked room specific for breakfast to be included, hotel never provided breakfast and stated that Bookings.com had advised them No Breakfast was booked. I totally disagreed.No feedback from either hotel or Bookings.com

Very small room. Between the bed and the wall thete is only space for 1 person. No hot water. I had only the hot water on and the most it got was not cold. The sink in the toilet was licking and the whole floor filled with water. And there is more
