They didn’t get us are Rooms at all terrible service

Bonnie the front desk, receptionist, was fantastic wonderful employee very helpful with everything. I believe she deserves a raise. She is a great employee and I would not let her go if I was the Company. The bed was comfortable the room was clean, just with the remodel, there are a few minor aesthetic issues but nothing major, I did enjoy my stay. Thank you.

The breakfast was great! Only disappointing part was the pool was not open. Otherwise staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff was helpful. Breakfast was so-so.

Ac was very noisy and and so were the surroundings. Parking is not great! Bathroom door wouldn’t shut all the way.

Breakfast was awesome! Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful! We picked this hotel because it had a pool because we wanted to cool off after a long day in the sun at a baseball tournament. The pool was closed "for maintenance" and no employees knew why or when it would reopen. No warnings or communications were on the website while we were booking. The key cards needed reprogrammed several times. That was annoying.

Size of room cost of room Large area of trash outside where u park. Also rails needed to be repaired and painted

The staff (night clerk) was very cordial and well mannered. He even dug out a charging cord for my old flip phone that I had unintentionally left at home and also computed a map to a friend's address in Manhattan so I could find his home.

The room we originally got put in still had someone staying there, we opened the door and were greeted with a very unpleasant smell, as well as someone’s belongings. Thankfully for us, and that other person we did not see each other. So the gentleman tried to upgrade us, by giving us a room with a bigger bed, but the upgrade we got was really not what I’d call an upgrade. I hate to leave such a negative review, but the whole reason I booked the room was for the jetted tub, that we didn’t even have in our upgraded room.(couldn’t rent out the only other room with the jetted tub due to malfunctioning door locks caused by their renovations) So we settled for the upgrade, however, the bathroom door was damaged and wouldn’t close properly, the tile was so loose that when we stepped into the bathroom the towel we placed on the floor got stuck under it. There were other small damages that I took photos of as I didn’t want to be blamed for them. I understand things get messy and/or messed up during renovations, but I really do think the only redeeming quality of this stay was how helpful, polite and kind the two gentlemen working were. If my review were based solely on staff interactions, it would be above the charts. Oh and the bed was super comfy! I’d definitely stay away until their renovations are completed.

I paid for a room with a jacuzzi tub and didn't get it because of remodeling that wasn't reported prior to submitting my reservation. The indoor pool was ice cold and not as clean as it should have been.

Miss Aubrey checked us in. She was professional, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, beds comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent . Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, fried onions and peppers and that was the hot breakfast. An assortment of cold breakfast food was available as well. We met Miss Virginia the chef. She was a military cook for nine years. She loves cooking and adds much to the menu. We walked out with chocolate chip cookies straight from the oven. The whole experience was good.

They are in the middle of a renovation, but the staff was very pleasant and helpful, and the room was bright and clean. Not sure whether this would be a quiet place if it was full, because hall noise came right into the room as if the door was open.

This is an older hotel, but has recently been renovated. Daytime and nighttime staff were all very friendly and helpful. Virginia in the kitchen had homemade cinnamon rolls, muffins and bread for breakfast along with bacon, sausage, real eggs and lots of other choices. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There were so many wonderful things about our stay here, but my favorite was definitely that the exhaust fan in the bathroom actually sucked the warm air out during showers. One thing to note is that if you have trouble with stairs be sure to let them know when reserving your room, because there is not an elevator. They will however offer to carry your bags up the flight of stairs for you. We will definitely make this hotel our 1st choice when in Manhattan.
