Very good service.

Location is very good, right next to old town. Good value. There was no breakfast available

Loved both the location and price. Great value for money. Nice staff and super little restaurant for breakfast and lunch right next door. Bed was a bit hard but otherwise my double room was fine and all super-clean!

In total honesty, the location, perhaps? However, even then, only somewhat. The hotel is at the very top of a steep hill. Not for everyone. Furthermore, their are an ample amount of other fantastic hotels and hostals that actually know how to run their establishment unlike Don Alfredo. The issue here is that it is family run. Therefore, their sadly is an imense lack of seriousness when it comes to customer service. It is not taken seriously at all. REVIEW from SATURDAY JULY 12 2025 OF DON ALFREDO HOTEL OLD MARBELLA SPAIN IN GENERAL: - flimsy air condition system - lack of updates, dated - late check in, not respected - weak breakfast - location situated at TOP of hill, not ideal for all ages - beyond rude staff There are A TON of hotels in Marbella, Old Marbella. This one however is to be AVOIDED. Horrible experience. Unfriendly staff. I hate to admit this but truly zero customer service at this hotel. DETAILS : Family run hotel. It is clear that the daughter of Juan, the owner, dislikes her life. She is beyond rude, grumpy, and totally unwelcoming. She even yelled at me for getting my luggage that were held in a public space next to the reception. The daughter then proceeded to yell and talk about my mother and I in spanish in the next room to her father, Juan. In general, after spending some time in Marbella, a lot of locals in Marbella / old Marbella make it very obvious that they are annoyed of tourists, especially tourists who do not speak fluent Spanish, even if tourists are respectful, and try to speak spanish, it is clear that they are completely annoyed in general. That said, we have stayed at 2 other hotels and had a fantastic experience (Old Marbella Hotel & A hotel on Calle San Ramon). Just be advised that this hotel is a huge no even if breakfast included (a piece of toast and jam with a boiled egg is all they offered). Your decision to make in the end. Simply keep in mind as to what to expect if you choose to book at DON ALFREDO HOTEL in OLD MARBELLA, SPAIN.

It was in a great location, easy to get everywhere by foot. Overall, the property was pretty good. Although it’s on a quiet street there are still a lot of cars honking horns.

Excellent location in the Old Town & short walk to beach areas, public transportation. Thin walls & ceiling, sounded like furniture being moved around late evening, early morning. As other reviewers have mentioned, breakfast was uninspiring, same every day. For first timers in Marbella, had higher expectations given the clientele, especially since it's family owned and run. I appreciate that it's been a long summer tourist season, but positive customer service & interactions usually result in more positive reviews & repeat guests...

Perfect location great traditional Spanish atmosphere Continental Spanish breakfast plenty of choice to choose from Stayed for two nights regrettably we didn’t stay longer Definitely going back next year Worth staying to experience the old town atmosphere at your doorstep

Unfortunately, the room didn’t have a mini fridge or an electric kettle, which I expected as basic amenities
