This is a beautiful gem in Mardin, with nice rooms, excellent breakfast, and very kind people. I stayed 9 nights in room 3, and loved the atmosphere, bathtub, and wood fireplace on cool or stormy nights. It is a short walk to 1. Cadde where all the shops and restaurants are, about 1.5 km up quiet, wandering, residential stone alleys with stairs. If you don’t do stairs it is easy to get a taxi up the hill, and the staff will arrange rides there or to the airport, or down through the valley if you fancy an excursion to monasteries, madrasas, Midyat, or wherever your heart desires. If you don’t speak Turkish or Kurdish, no problem, you can communicate through a translation app on your phone. The beautiful people working here are what sets this place apart. I so greatly enjoyed getting to know Rezan, Züleyha, Sade, and little Rizgar. A highlight of my stay was having easy conversations and lingering over meals, coffee, and tea. I was traveling alone, but it didn’t feel like it because here I was treated as family. They even prepared a birthday cake for my time here.

This hotel must be out of order as it's need lot of renovation and it's not worth that money And it's dangerous as I fault down and injured my hand all of my hand and the onwers show no interest in that And it's lot of high steps you should claim without railing so high and dangerous inside the building Bad experience The description in booking.com is misleading and false

The Hotel is small but very cozy. The personnel is great ! Very nice and helpful. The rooms are cozy. The breakfast was very good and tasty. All and all the best part of our stay was the personnel. The bathroom was extremely small. No room even to place the toilette bag ! The mirror in the bathroom was tiny without any light so impossible to use. They did not clean the room nor changed the towels during our 3 day stay… Although the breakfast was included in the price they charged us for all the coffees and juice.

I’m in the food and beverage business so I know good genuine service when I do get it. From the moment we walked in the rec326 we were welcomed with a smile and kindness from sada, she was an amazing host I can go on and on and mind you we only stayed here for one night. The room was immaculate, very clean and well designed. We will be back and definitely share with all my friends and family. We loved it all.
