Staff was helpful and polite.. Even though my res included breakfast, there was no breakfast.. (they upgraded my room instead) you have to climb stairs 15 minutes to get breakfast from outside.. Even though we asked many times how we could order breakfast from outside (with paying ourselves) hotel didnt helped anyway...

Very nice property , great location and magical surroundings. Good breakfast! Lovely staff I have to say I stayed at Mirsoum hotel because Mirsoum Han wasn’t able to provide breakfast while i was staying but they offered me another room at Mirsoum Hotel. Bathroom was small and wasn’t very user friendly. It lacked ventilation and was damp.

We liked the time spent in Mirsoum Han in the city of Mardin. The receptionists were all great people, always available and very kind. We'd been upragred from a Deluxe room to a Suite that was beautifully decorated and well-equipped. 1. Though the room was really well-equipped and clean, the AC was a disaster. It was too loud, 70cm or so from the bed and the room's temperature was not ideal even after a day of AC turned-on. 2. The breakfast seemed good at first with a lot of varieties but the cheeses were too salty, the fruits were not fresh and the tea was served from a thermos which lessen the quality of the tea. Normally in Turkey, you're served with a çay demlik (tea infuser). Especially in those areas were copper is famous and give better taste to water. 3.Garbage. EVERYWHERE. In the whole town, we'd found no streets without a single piece of plastics garbage or similar. It takes the charm of the city away. 4. People. It was difficult to have a discussion with the local without them wanting to sell us something.

Wonderful hotel, everything is updated, clean, stylish! The room is beautifully furnished, comfortable, interestingly arranged, with air conditioning that works well. It's nice to sit on the patio, the terrace has a spectacular panorama, and you can see the castle. The location of the hotel is very convenient given the maze of streets in Mardin. Despite the language barrier, we managed to communicate with the hotel staff in plain English. They tried very hard to help us. We are particularly grateful to Baran, who was very helpful and organised our transfer to the airport. Only in the morning, the other young man who was supposed to let us out of the locked courtyard door and escort us to the taxi was late a bit :) The only downside, and it was quite a big one, was that a week before we arrived in Mardin, we received a message from the hotel saying that "due to unforeseen circumstances" the hotel would not provide breakfast and gave us the choice of either a refund or a 15-minute walk to their next hotel. We don't want to speculate why this happened, but we weren't happy, even though the whole hotel was empty and quiet. It is easy to walk 500 metres to breakfast, but by paying for a hotel with breakfast included, we wanted to save time on our short and minute-to-minute planned trip, and this change was inconvenient. Despite one major drawback, for which we cannot give the best rating, overall we were happy to have found this place.

We had an exceptional stay at Mirsoum Han. Our host, Diyor, and all the staff were incredibly kind and helpful - nothing was ever a problem and all our requests were cheerfully accommodated without fuss. Language was no barrier at all despite the fact that we only speak English. We were truly made to feel like members of the family. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed with careful attention to modern design whilst maintaining the authenticity of the traditional stone architecture. The courtyard is a delightful shady refuge to while away the warmer hours of the afternoon, and the glorious rooftop terrace is a gorgeous spot to enjoy the sunset and a delicious dinner. Chef Medina is a master of the local cuisine. She prepares breakfast at the kitchen counter for each guest every morning. And she cooked us a truly delicious dinner on our last night. The hotel is located in a pedestrian-only zone (much of Mardin is steps), but this was no problem at all as Diyor had this well under control and organised assistance with getting the luggage to and from the hotel. I cannot recommend a stay at Mirsoum any more highly. For an authentic, peaceful and frankly beautiful stay in Mardin, look no further.

The building is a traditional inn impeccably restored and equipped with the facilities of a 5-star hotel. The interior design is a combination of traditional materials and contemporary art. If we add to all this the extraordinary kindness of the staff (especially Mr. Diyor), our stay at this hotel was extraordinary. For those who want an authentic and unforgettable experience, this is the place.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Mirsoumhan, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my visit was perfect. The location itself is a true gem, offering breathtaking views and a tranquil environment that is perfect for relaxation. The accommodations were immaculate and thoughtfully designed, combining modern amenities with a touch of traditional charm. What truly sets Mirsoumhan apart is the attention to detail and the genuine care that is evident in every aspect of the service. The cuisine was exceptional, featuring a variety of delicious dishes that showcased local flavors and fresh ingredients. Each meal was a delightful experience, leaving me eager to try more. Overall, my stay at Mirsoumhan was nothing short of extraordinary. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or an unforgettable adventure, Mirsoumhan is the perfect destination. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional and memorable experience. -

We stayed for three nights in a beautiful suite room at Mirsoum Han and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The employees (Davud & Diyar) always welcomed us with a smile. With their kind, friendly & always solution-oriented attitude they really made us feel very welcome. Smallest suggestions for improvement were implemented literally the next day. Before I move on to the tasteful rooms I have to mention the breakfast. We have been on the road for 2 weeks and the breakfast here has by far been the most amazing! Medina, the lady in the kitchen, went above and beyond to provide us with a different amazing breakfast every morning. She even made special vitamin drinks for me, because she cared for my pregnancy. I would come back here anytime just for the breakfast! The stone rooms with high arched ceilings are as beautiful & spacious as shown on the pictures. We had a fire place (Davud helped us set it up every night), an amazing copper bath tub, multiple cozy sitting areas beautifully decorated and a very big modern bathroom. We loved drinking the nespresso coffee provided and just enjoying the beauty of the room. Also the lighting in the room is very romantic. You can see in every corner of the hotel, that it is an acclaimed architect’s work. Also, the sitting area outside has a beautiful view of Mesopotamia. We would warmly recommend staying in this high quality hotel and love to come back. Due to the labyrinth like nature of old town Mardin, you will encounter some parking problems and you’ll have to walk up some stairs. But the above mentioned perks of this hotel make up for this.
