Fantastic host who is only too happy to help with anything Mardin is a nightmare if you have a car, nearest parking is at the museum

Welcome to the fairy tale, that was our first feeling. After climbing so many steps and looking for a hotel in narrow streets, we have found a gem, with amazing Mezopotamia views, elegant doves, large rooms, very friendly and helful owner. That were our first bathrooms in Turkey, where the sinks didnt badly stink. We even spent one night under the night sky on the big outside beds - beautiful experience. Wifi signal bad and rooms were quite hot.

Everything was beyond perfect

The room was amazingly beautiful and comfortable. The location is perfect, few minutes away from the main street, yet very calm (lost in a series of stairways, but hard to find at first). We can only get there by foot. The staff didn't speak English, and it seems the hotel is managed remotely, so the staff at the hotel had to call someone else when we arrived, when we wanted to pay, etc. They seemed unaware of our reservation through Booking. No big deal, it worked at the end, but this could be smoother.

Beautiful hotel with stunning view and many shops, restaurants, etc. within walking distance from the hotel. The owner was so kind and helpful with arranging a tour to Midyat. Would definitely visit this hotel again.

You don't guess from the outside the hotel that it looks inside like a small castle (as I was told it's 900 y.o. building) with a lot of space. It seemed that I was living in a museum with many antique details. It was a pleasure and great experience for a reasonable price! There was no WiFi in the rooms (though it is declared in the description) and poor internet connection via mobile phone (at least for zoom/Skype meetings)

Spacious Dreadful steps to get to the property

Its not clean, no internet, not attractive location,no breakfast no mini market nearby

Exceptional

The building is great as it is an old fascinating castle It can be a bit challenging to find the address.

Nice view over Mezopotamia. Free tea made by the stuff and the hotel owner willing to help to get around. Lack of A/C was very painful. Although we decided to leave one day earlier (despite paying for the full stay), staff urged us to leave even earlier to make the room accessible for the cleaning staff - very disappointing.

Very good

Just view is nice There was no hot water in room, no Wi-Fi (working only at reception area), no heating or aircon neether. In the morning i asked to return part money back for not to have even basic room facilityes, and been refused.

The welcome is lovely, as the place !

Beautiful old building, very large room, great view. No AC, no breakfast, no wifi in room. No parking (not possible to get to hotel by car, because streets are very narrow. You have to leave it down the street, 200-300 m from hotel).

The Owner Helpdesk us to Find it. It’s not easy… Many stairs, very hot inside the room, poor amenities (just soap). No reception, no place to stay except inside the room. The price is higher than others around that are much better.
