The views are fantastic!! We enjoyed breakfast every morning. The staff were very helpful and kind even walking us up to the main road so we could join a tour! No wifi in the room.

The stuff is very authentic, helpful and practical. The building and the experience is well preserved.

700 years old mansion beautifully preserved and well cared for. Lots of details and remains of the history that were obviously adored by the caretakers. Waking up to the view on the terrace everyday was such a privilege. The staff members were more than hospitable. They were thoughtful and always popping by to ask if we wanted chay or Turk coffee when we were lounging on the terrace, even late at night. While our room was comfortable and beautiful, the shower screen doors, bathroom furniture, and amenities can use some upgrades to enhance the experience and space even more. WiFi could be unstable at times.

Maristan Tarihi Konak was a totally outstanding experience: the 700 year old building, the staff support, the incredible view, the location, the room and healthy breakfast Emin and Sinan were amazing in the help they provided getting to and from the property and other day to day questions. They were a highlight of my stay in Mardin. For me, there was nothing to dislike.

Fantastic location No tea/coffee despite kettle and cups, no daily cleaning, no tooth mugs, loud fridge had to be turned off at night. Lavatory separated from beds by curtain only.

The location was excellent. You totally get the old Mardin experience. The hospitality is equally memorable. Nothing specific.

Great locacion in old Mardin very near to the Old Bazar and many other landmarks within the old city. Room was very good and the staff was superberb. We booked with them a tour with Tahir (Taxi Driver) which was one of the best things in our Mardin visit, eventough he does not speak english, but with google translate everything is possible. Very recommended. Very Important: bear in mind that streets and alleys in Old Mardin are very steep and with lots of stairs, so you need to walk with luggage to the hotel location as the nearest street could be aprox. 200 mts away.

The hotel was traditional, the room was very cozy and clean. The personal was king, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great and the view from the terrace was amazing! The room wasn’t very soundproof, as we had the room in the entry of the hotel, we could hear almost everything. The bathroom in the room was a little bit special as it hasn’t ceiling and there was no privacy.

We had an amazing stay here, everything was perfect. The staff, especially Sinan, Ferhat, Samet were kind, respectful and very helpful at all times. They went above and beyond to make sure we were always comfortable. I would stay here again .

The hotel staff was like a family. They work very hard and take good care of their customers. Excellent service and helpful. It:s not about the hotel. The area needs refurbishment and be more tidy. Some of the steps leading to the hotel need upkeep and maintenance

A unique building, excellent view, very friendly and conscientious staff, clean and comfortable The only problem was the access was very, very bad, many stairs, you really need to be physically fit to the level of a professional athlete to get around.
