Amazingly friendly staff, who are looking to help and accommodate the guests. The building is picturesque and leaves a feeling of old eras. Lovely view from the terraces and excellent location for roaming around the old town. The breakfast is very rich and tasty. n/a

Things are not working in the room. The room was not clean, dust everywhere... Dark room with a small window (15cm x 35cm), doors could not be closed property.

Location was good Staff! I never give a bad review but they were so arrogant and rude. No further details else it would be a book to read. Had a single room across reception. You could hear Everything. Super small. And shower dirty.

Nice view, good location and the kitchen staff were nice The receptionists were unprofessional, and the room had issues from the start. The toilet was broken, the drapes and floor were dirty, and nothing basic was provided unless you asked for it. We were a group of four, and when we asked for toilet paper, they only gave us one roll. There were no slippers in the room either. Plus, there was no signal in the room, and the water suddenly turned extremely hot during the shower.

The location was good. The breakfast was very good. The shower was broken.

Exceptional

The building was beautiful and right in city center. It is not assessable by car, but hotel staff did help with baggage. Should be aware a lot of steep stairs. We stayed in the 2 small rooms. Showers need updated and rooms were not that clean.

The location is great, the staff is extremly helpful. The hotel it self is a very old mansion. Which gives it a great personallity. The walls are relly thick. Which is why the phone signal is weak.

I would like to point out a significant drawback—the breakfast was very poor. Low season is not an excuse to serve food with stale ingredients. The French fries were not tasty when they had clearly been sitting in the fridge. On one of the days, scrambled eggs were offered for breakfast, but the next day they were not provided. The towels are very rough. They either need to be ironed or replaced. On booking page there is info about free parking nearby. this is not true, info has to be updated. only parking for fees is available in historical part

The hotel was very nice, the location was perfect, easy to find, closse to restaurants and supermarkets. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and kind. I definitely recommend the hotel. The views from the top of the hotel are really stunning.

Dara is perfectly located near the high street, very clean and spacious. The owners are very welcoming, be sure to make friends there and you will definitely feel at home. There is definitely more to it than it seems. It was one of the unforgettable holidays for me… will definitely go back and I strongly recommend you to go. You can be sure that you will find more than you are looking for. I was alone and did not feel like a stranger at all. They immediately provided everything I needed in my room. They helped me with the places I would visit and told me that I could contact them if I had any problems while traveling alone. I definitely felt very safe. I felt like I had returned home that I had left years ago. Thank you Dara! Thank you Mardin! Nothing at all. Better than what I was expecting.

Everything was perfect, the location is the best for Mardin, breathtaking views from the rooftop. The bedroom was super comfy and beautiful; it had a very authentic decoration and all good amenities. I could talk for hours about the breakfast, the best I have eaten in Türkiye (it is very big be prepared). And finally the staff was super kind and helpful. Thanks again for everything, I will be back for sure!

Dara Konagi was a welcomed alternative to Rosa Hostel - which I'd booked and quickly canceled once I saw the nonrefundable facilities. Dara's single room was small but heated up more quickly in the unseasonably cold weather. Some will find it too dark but I thought it was perfect for daytime napping. The facility is a genuine historic structure and not modern built to look like all the cave structures in Göreme. Location is central to all the main attractions, the Turkish breakfast was quite large, and the guesthouse recommends tours with local HGM Turizm Türkiye - a 9-hour excursion for 650TL. The guesthouse really needs to invest in a generator! There were long periods with no electricity, heat, or WiFi - since data signals could not penetrate the thick stone walls. The single room is right off the check-in area, though excessive noise was never too bad, and a tall person will probably need to sit side-saddle on the toilet as it's facing too close to the sink. Consider these FYI but certainly nothing bad enough to keep me from booking the extra night for a three night stay.

Excellent support from Mahmut (at reception). The location was amazing, landscape from balcony awesome.breakfast was good. Hotel historical and room was authentic. Internet in the room was poor and it was hard to have breakfast with bothering cats around ? rest were ok.
