Amazing refurbishment of the building. Great pool, nice breakfast and really helpful staff. The aircon unit is a bit dates and having a bigger room it took a bit longer to feel it compared to the other small room we had. I forgot to mention it at check out

The whole experience was lovely from check-in to dinner to breakfast. Loved the pool. Was a peaceful treat and a very happy and relaxing time.

The villa is very beautiful, it had lovely gardens, a great swimming pool and the staff were very friendly. Sadly our air conditioner did not work properly so it was quite hot both nights. We mentioned the problem on the first night and we’re given a fan but it was still quite warm as we were in the top floor and we had to sleep without bedsheets due to the warmth. Unfortunately this meant we ended up with a lot of mosquito bites, even with deet on. We were hoping for a relaxing 2 final nights sleep but got the opposite and spoilt what would otherwise have been a pleasant stay. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you need aircon that works well. Sadly our room didn’t look as nice as the ones on the website.

The service and customer care was excellent. The standard of the food, pool and rooms were very, very good. The location is perfect for visiting Cinque Terre and also Pisa, Lucca and other Tuscan towns. The proximity of the hotel to the beach is an added bonus.

The breakfast was wonderful the location was beautiful but the staff was the really spectacular part of our stay they were so attentive and kind did everything to make our stay perfect I had a birthday and so did my granddaughter during our stay and we were greeted with a pastry with a candle first thing that morning can’t say entgood things about the staff and the hotel! The mosquitoes!! We only ate dinner at the hotel one night because we were getting too many mosquitoe bites. Mosquitoes can carry lots of diseases so it’s really a health concern
