While my overall stay was satisfactory, there were a few aspects that could be improved. I arrived earlier than anticipated; however, I was not permitted to check in before the standard check-in time of 3:00 PM, despite the early arrival. Additionally, breakfast service begins at 8:00 AM, which may not be suitable for business travelers with early work commitments. As my workday starts at 8:30 AM, I was unable to take advantage of the breakfast service during my stay. Extending breakfast hours or offering an earlier option would greatly enhance the experience for guests with similar schedules.

We loved the pool area and the grassy area at the property. Was a short walk from the ocean.

The hotel is set within a beautiful large garden and the rooms are spacious. There is a gym in the garden area, although some of the equipment is rusty. Mosquito repellent is essential, otherwise it is difficult to use the gym comfortably. The room was not very clean. There were spider webs on the ceiling and a dead fly on the curtains above the bed. There is no food service between breakfast and dinner, and if you order food from outside, you are not allowed to eat it in the common areas, only in your room. Guests are also not allowed to use the refrigerators outside of the minibar service. The rooms are not well soundproofed. Noise from the corridor, including housekeeping activities and children, was very noticeable and often woke us up early in the morning.

All good, room, restaurant, staff All ok

One restaurant with no room service... was a challenge to eat in the hotel as you have to book otherwise they wont serve you... when you have kids this is a problem, there should be either room service or the hotel guest get priority and some choices to eat.

The hotel is located in the zone of private villas, surrounded by beautiful old trees, so the area is very quiet. They have a big garden. The breakfast was always fresh, the staff were welcoming and always ready to help. There is enough place for parking which is free. The outdoor swimming pool looked very nice, but it was too cold to get into the water. There is no noise protection, so every single move or word from a neighbouring room or from a balcony was heard. We had a room with a terrace and during one night it was raining, it was impossible to sleep because of the drumming noise from the drainpipe located just in front of the terrace. Another unpleasant surprise we had on the check out when we saw that that there is a fixed fee to charge an electric car, and nobody informed us about this. Paying EUR 25 to charge several percent of the battery is too much.

Regretfully I did not like anything. Im sorry to say that this property is not worthy outside of the warm season. The facility inside are very basic. I booked a junior suite which was way different from the picture with view on the parking, extremely cold floors and just not cosy. Nothing was opened beside the breakfast room. No bar, no restaurant. You are obliged to go out if you want anything. The pictures in booking.com are very much misleading and make you think the rate is balanced with the level of the property but it is way too expensive for what you get. We were hoping in the breakfast but we felt like in a 2 stars hotel, both for the facility and for the food offering, not to mention the impossibility to have a fresh cappuccino if not the one of those industrial machines.

Great hotel overall. Our entire family was staying for three nights, and we also had the suite. Stunning pool area, very pleasant rooms, excellent shower facilities, good breakfast. Had no idea that this was Gianluigi Buffon's hotel! All the memorabilia was just awesome. My parents had issues with operating the TV, and given they're not tech savvy I totally understand them... not sure why it shouldn't be simple to just turn on the TV. But it's a really minor thing.
