Super nice staff and delicious and large dinner at the hotel

Our stay here was amazing. The facility is clean and has everything you need. Hassan was an amazing host and helped us with everything we needed included recommendations and even some Morrocan culture. The breakfast was good and they even accommodated the time when we had to leave early due to a tour. We enjoyed our stay here! The neighborhood outside in the Riad can look dangerous but it is very safe!

Area was a little scary at first but okay, everything was okay Value for amount paid not great, at times wifi not available.

The rooms were nice and comfortable for the price. The staff member who helped me was friendly and really tried to rectify the issues I had while there. The wi-fi worked well. It said online that payment could be made by credit card, but when I arrived they said "their credit card machine was broken." I'd like to believe them that this was a one-time, unforeseen development, but this is a classic scam that hotels engage in when they want to be paid in cash. I had been communicating with the property about things like check-in time and they were prompt with their responses, but when I messaged to confirm that they accepted credit card, they stopped responding to messages. That means they knew it was broken and didn't want me to cancel my reservation before arriving. In addition, the doors to the rooms didn't lock because apparently the doors had swelled due to temperature and humidity. We tried both available rooms and neither door was capable of locking. The staff member tried to assuage my fears saying the riad was locked from the outside and that he would be at the desk to make sure my room was secure, but needless to say this didn't make me feel at ease. I wound up walking around town carrying my passport, camera, laptop, and all other valuables on my back because I couldn't trust them to be locked in my room. When I returned the staff member had wound up fixing my door by sanding it down so it closed and locked (which was nice of him) but things like that should be sorted before letting the room. Finally, this was the loudest location I stayed in Marrakech. Though it is on a small alley, people were ripping up and down the alley on motorbikes all night. It kept waking me up. And breakfast was served less than 2 meters from the wooden window to my room, so good luck sleeping past breakfast.

The room was very small, old, and damp. The riad is located on the outskirts of the Medina, and at night I had to walk back through a very dark, narrow alley where groups of men often gathered and made inappropriate comments, which made me feel scared and uncomfortable. The breakfast was very limited, and on the second day there were not even any eggs available.

    Very low quality breakfast, location

Pleasant staff Basic but comfortable No hangers or hooks in the room. Taxi transfers will be cheaper if you negotiate them on your own.

Breakfast to go early in the morning, welcome tea. Terrible experience, only cash payment, extremely dirty room. The water pressure in the bathroom was non existent, it was impossible to take a shower. The towels were dirty and used with stains on them. The bed was so uncomfortable that we couldn't sleep. Not to talk about the area which is the worst part of Marrakech, not recommended at all.

Welcoming staff, large, pleasant! Nice breakfast

  • Engine customer Apr 2025

The room was very comfortable and with its own bathroom and air conditioner. The staff was nice and attentive. The location is a little bit off compared to other Riads. When we were walking to the riad locals kept telling us to go back saying the road was “closed”. It also felt a little bit less for tourists but all in all I don’t think it was unsafe or anything.

Perfect location, helpful staff, meeting expectations

  • Engine customer Apr 2025

The Riad was clean, nice staff, the room was okay .there was A.C. in the room. The breakfast was good but repetitive . The bathroom water was spilling all over the floor, and it made the floor became slippery. The environment is not safe for lone female travellers.

Feels like home , so comfortable and very kind people !

Really important. Google took me to the wrong Riad Jomana on the other side of Marrakesh, I don't think I'm the first person this has happened to either. The owners of this one were kind enough to collect me and bring me here, I offered to pay but the young man would not accept anything .XXX Use the directions they send you or alternatively go to the JEWISH CEMETERY and it is the alley way OPPOSITE . This property has everything needed, it is pretty new and clean but is slightly out of the main part of the Medina 15mins walk once you know the way. The staff are lovely. I opted to have my dinner there as I really was just passing through and not interested in going into Marrakesh as I have been before. Dinner was great I think 10 euros or 12 but really tasty tagine salad bread desert and drink. A great option if you don't want to venture out. I also decided to use the taxi to the airport for convenience and it was a good service. The area around the Dar is a little run down and off the main tourist route but locals seem friendly. Comfy bed. Good wifi. Quiet. Traditional breakfast provided, coffee wasn't the best. Not sure if there was a roof terrace, I didn't venture up no pool though s I had a message to say that it was closed. I'd stay again if just passing through. Thank you for making my stay comfortable and for the great dinner.

    was great

The staff was very friendly. Great rooftop. Parking is just 100 m away and you get to the center of the medina pretty fast. The bed was small and not comfortable for two persons at all. The light was dazzlingly white in the room. There were windows towards the hallway that did not have curtains, which made it very bright in the room. The entire house in general was not very soundproof. The whirlpool did not even have water at the moment. When you take a shower you flood the entire bathroom. We cannot say anything about the breakfast, because we had to leave early to go to the airport.

The staff were absolutely nice. They were kind and did their best to accommodate my needs (like breakfast to go), which made my experience feel welcoming. I noticed issues with the plumbing system, which led to some unpleasant odors in the room, and unfortunately, it seemed to affect the building as well. Additionally, the water pressure, particularly when using hot water, was quite low, which was a bit of an inconvenience. While these aspects did impact my overall comfort, I believe with some attention to the facilities, this hotel could be a fantastic place to stay.

Pickup and return from airport was swift and easy. Breakfast was good and enough. Diner for the first night was nice too! The room was clean and large enough and shower worked well. We did like the riad and helpful host. Good location for most of the interesting things in the city (Badia Palace, Al Badi, Saadian Tonmbs, Jema El Fna, ...). Just some tips actually: refrigerator in the room would be nice, The bed was a bit short.... or my 1,80 m length is not common for Morocco ;-) The host was a bit shy to talk and a bit more proactive service would be great. Visitors should not forget to bring earplugs since doors and windows are not soundproof.
