The view is incredible It’s not so much a hotel as rooms above a bar. The bar is open to the public and seems to be the main business with the hotel as an add on. There’s nothing stopping people from the bar or the street walking up to the rooms so it felt a bit unsafe as a solo traveller, especially given how busy and lively the port is at night. You also have to compete with the public for a seat at breakfast, the bar becomes a normal cafe open to the public. Service was very slow.

We had a fabulous view of the Port and promenade. The room was very quiet even when the below street was very busy. The air conditioning was great for the very hot weather. The style and decor of our room was very well decorated. They did not provide free drinking water which is usually given in most hotels. The second morning did not have the coffee packets in our room.

We had a great view of the port and the location of the hotel is great to enjoy cafe culture and to tour the old town of Marseille. Many cafes and restaurants just outside the hotel and an easy walk around the port. My room was not ready when I arrived and they were not only kind enough to upgrade me to a nicer room with the view, but the person managing the front desk arranged to have my luggage which I had stored while I walked around, placed in the room so I did not have to manage it. The room had a safe, A/C, everyone was very friendly and overall the hotel felt very safe. The towels were a little lacking-Kind of small and were a little rough. I also kept smelling garbage in the bathroom. Not sure if the main garbage chute was nearby or it was old pipes as the building is pretty old.
